Question Will County Adult Detention Center

Hey everyone, I have a question...well sort of. On March 8th of this year, my now fiance was arrested. Honestly, he didn't even do what he's in there for because I was with him the day he supposedly did this. His ex told him when they broke up that she will "make his life a living hell" and she's succeeding. I know that when someone is in "the hole", said person loses all contact with the outside world and spends basically all day in there. He usually calls me at least once a week and I haven't heard from him since Wednesday (the 25th. I know he had court on the 27th but it was the pretrail and his court date is scheduled for May 16th. If you were me would you think that he's back in the hole and that's why I haven't heard from him in over a week?

Also, we're not getting eachothers letters. My friend who was written to someone there said they could be really backed up with outgoing/incoming letters. But what doesn't make sense is that his parents get his letters within two days of him sending it. And I know my family that I live with wouldn't hide his letters from me.

This guy means everything to me. Last time we talked he told me they're trying to get him for 18 years (he'll serve 8 then be on parole for 10). Also last time we talked he asked me to marry him and I said yes. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I miss him like crazy and with my license being suspended I can't visit him since no one will take me there. (my mom doesn't approve that I'm with someone in jail)... and just in case you're wondering, I'm 22. But my mom uses that "you may be legal age but you live under my roof" thing.

Anyway, back to the point. Can someone tell me why we're not getting eachothers letters? (He has my right address and I filled out the envelope correctly when I mailed out his). And if you were me and haven't heard from him in over a week would you assume he's back in the hole?

Thank you for the help and sorry this turned into a mini novel.

I know someone at that jail, and it does take a long time for letters back and forth. Sometimes it'll take up to a WEEK for him to get my letters, although when HE sends some to me, I get them within the usual 2 days, so IDK what's up with that part. And also, yes he might be in the hole, because they usually get out at least once per day, though there have been a couple times where they'd been locked down though at the most it's only been 2 days in a row. No more than that, so I'm assuming he might be in the hole. PS, I know this post is 2 weeks old, but I'm sure you got your answer by now.
