Lord I come to You asking for You to open doors that are closed. I ask that You protect the people we love who are inside the walls. I trust You that You are changing things for the US, and bringing into the light all that is hidden in darkness. Bring about change from this way of life that puts people in cages like animals. Help us to bring forward Your ways in justice, dear Father.

Lord, I thank You that I was strong enough to do the drive the other day, and I ask that the next attempt at a visit, we can get together. Lord it has been so long, and both of us being so sick, You are the only one who can get us to the place of seeing each other. You are in charge of the visit, and the possible release. In fact, only You can secure a release for Charlie. The system is so political Father that we cannot do anything but trust in You. But that is so much, Father. We rejoice in Your plans for us, dear Lord.

I trust that Caroline and Charles' situation is in Your hands, dear Lord. We have waited and believed for miracles for so very long, my Father. I stand with them believing for a miracle. Come Lord Jesus, make a way where there is no way. You are bigger than any system any prison any law. You have come to free the prisoners, and that includes those who walk inside walls. Come and bring Your mercy, Your grace, Your love, Your justice. Come speak to all of us with Your love and comfort, dear Father. In Jesus name, amen.

Blessings on all of you who read this prayer. Join us with your little prayers too. Our little prayers are heard by a Mighty and Awesome God who loves us dearly.

kay

Default Word of the Day

Word of the Day - August 30, 2011
Hebrews 12:1-3

King James Version

(1) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, (2) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (3) For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

New International Version
(1) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. (2) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (3) Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Dear Father,

We come to You today to praise and bless You for all You are doing in our lives. My heart reaches up to You alone. You are our provider and our comfort. We often look to man for that, but You are our only true provider and our only true comfort. Come today with special blessings to those who have just joined us. Comfort those who are in a very hard situation. So many have a life full to the brim with trials and tests from You. You have a purpose, and You know their hearts. Touch the frail hearts and cause them to grow in Your strength. Your desire is that we grow in You, and not just live through life. In Jesus name. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you so much for all the blessings I have in my life. I could not ask for more! But then again I am human so please forgive me for being selfish at the moment. I can not shake off this "worry of the unknown." I mean I know I am suppose to have faith especially in the things unseen but I am naturally a worry wort. I know I put this situation in Your loving hands and told myself I will not worry but it seriously seems like it is one thing after another and still I am in the dark. My loving husband You blessed me with is definitly the strong one right now and I ask You to please continue in giving him the strength, patience, courage and wisdom to keep pushing through as You guide him through Your will so he can come home safely to his loving family patiently waiting for him. Our family unit is a blessing and I thank you Jesus for our unit. Please ease my worry and make sure my wonderful husband is doing ok. In the precious name of Jesus I pray, amen

Please pray for my husbands fast release. He's been gone 14 years and was given an FI1 on Feb. 3rd. His parole plan has been approved, certificate has been printed but still no release date. All I hear is should be any day now. His father is very old and although holding on to see his son out here, is in very bad health and in the hospital. Praying to have him home before its too late. We all need him home. Thank u!

Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Without god nothing's possible, with god nothing's impossible. These men in black robes think they hold all the power but as children of god we know better. And by the grace of god our love ones will be home soon....i believe that with everything in me. God has never left us.

Hello ladies! My name is Maiya, and I have been down with my fiance for a near 14 months. I absolutely adore this man, and I worship the ground that he walks on. He is scheduled to be released next week, and although I have waited and anticipated his release, I am feeling anxious and worried where I thought I would feel excitement. I fear that once he is released, he will no longer want to be with myself or our son, or that we will be two different people and have nothing to talk about. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this?

Is there a particular reason you feel this way?

I think it's absolutely normal. We also do time w/ our loved one. I have a pretty close to perfect relationship w/ my honey, & just thinking about him coming home gets me very anxious, & scared of what to do, & how to do it. Plus, on here you work yourself up by reading so many different stories. My opinion is it's totally normal. Just put it all in Gods hands Hun! That's ALL you can do.

You might want to look at it this way: you have fallen in love with each others' minds. There's far more depth there than can ever be in a relationship based on the superficial. It's normal to be anxious--after all, even good change is change nonetheless and as human beings we tend to be anxious about change. But as far as finding that you are two different people....I don't think you have to worry. You know each other already on a level which many couples never reach.

Default Marriage Prayers: Wives, pray this prayer for husband...

Heavenly Father, I thank you for my husband. I thank you for all that he does on a daily basis to keep our family stable. I pray that you would continue to grace him to do all that you have purposed for him to do, and that your will for his life would be made clear.

I pray that you would grant him wisdom and knowledge so that he can make Godly decisions in our home, and at his work place.

I pray that he would find favor wherever he goes, and that he would be a blessing to everyone he meets. Help him to be a Godly husband to me, and a Godly father to our children.

Let him be a man of influence for you. Let others look upon him and see the hope of your glory.

Enable him to see himself as you see him, he is more than a conquer, and he can do all things through your strength. Father, silence all other voices in his mind, and his social circle that would tear him down and give him confidence and boldness in you Lord.

Help him to come to know you more and more every day, and to seek your face and not the approval of man. Teach him to hear and follow your voice, in Jesus name, Amen.

Father God I come before you to give you honor, I come to give you praise, and i come to you to give you thanks, though our situation seems dark i know that you are there holding the light above us, I know that though he sits behind bars at this present time it was you snatching him out of the firery fiurnace. You steped in right on time. I know that he would be dead right now had you not stepped in. I know the enemy was trying to destroy him by providing the druges, i know that the friends who were surrounding him were sent from satin, i thank you for your continued covering over my husband and i thank you for making all his so called friends disapear. I thank you for loving him enough to believe that his life can still provide meaning to someone. I know that his work here for you will be great. I thank you God for helping us with the attorney fees, I thank you for keeping our phone on, and I thank you God in advance for a speeding trail. I realize that the outcome is your decision and whatever that may be I will thank you, because i know you have a plan. In jesus name I pray, AMEN>

Dear Lord,
I am praying for this ladies husband and every husband that is away from their families due to choices they made. I am also praying for the sons, daughters, wives, children , mothers, fathers, that are incarcerated or who are waiting on the outside for their loved ones.

Forgive me Lord if I have only been praying for my own son, which is not intentional because I do think of others and have empathy and sympathy for all.

Father in Heaven I pray you work in everyones life so that they will know you , that they know all things are possible through the son. Bless all Lord and show your mercy and grace on each and everyone, give them all a peace knowing you are always walking beside them.

Lord I do have the faith of a mustard seed, as you know my Heart. I know that things will evolve according to your plan. Help us to have patience.

Thank you Lord for all you have given of your self for us.

Help us to live for you, we want to be good Shepherds.
In Jesus name I pray. Amen!
