I have been sending my girlfriend two letters and or cards each and every day she been away. I've just started using some custom made postage stamps that I purchased from Zazzle..

Think She'll like them?

Damn...not to say there aren't days where I'll send her 2 or 3 pieces of mail at once, but 1-2 letters a week is usually what I manage. How do you not burn out???

I put my job on hold,, and spending all my waking hours for her... Actually it's my therapy to write to her.. Makes me feel good, from missing her... My mind is going at full speed. Trying to come up new and creative ideas.. I have sent her word puzzles, ordered books, magazines, her facebook pages, even pages of the Victoria Secrets catalogue.. That's her favorite store. We're settling on a sexy evening gown for our fist date when she returns... Cannot wait...

At times I feel as though I'll burn out. But then I think how lonely she has to be in there. So I keep cranking them out. That's the least I can do for her.. My letters are usually two type written pages long. Plus I usually make up a poem for her... And I always fill most the blank spaces on the cards with sweet words of Love and or encouragement...

Nichole taught me how to Love,,
But she didn't teach how to live without her...

The price depends on size of the stamp, design, and quantity. They are just over twice the cost of the $.45 postage,, about a dollar each...

In Colorado you would be wasting your money as all stamps are removed from the envelopes before they are delivered. They are concerned about all of that contraband you can hide underneath a postage stamp...

I never knew you could do them online! I saw a deal at the post office once where you could buy this kit I guess to make some. I always thought about getting a pic of the dog & I to use for the stamp! I think she'll LOVE them!

my mom always told me its nice to get differnt things besides a white envelope and white paper and a same ol stamp, good thinking

I had thought about the custom stamps.but my.love said.don't spend.money because he.still couldn't.be.able.to enjoy the stamps, they hole punch them so they can't reuse the stamp, but what.I've been doing since 07' is colored envelopes! He always.knows.when.he had mail just by looking at the stack....funny thing is another inmate.had.told.him u.got. mail and my love.said.how u know n then inmate replied because I've noticed your the only.one that receives letters in colored envelopes! LOL

You had me worried there... From what I understand today,, that's not the case in Ohio's Prisons...

awwww, that is awesome! I would love to do that but he doesn't even get to see my envelopes, much less the stamps. His mail is always opened before it gets to him, envelope removed :-(

I do that with my BFF.. He has NOT another soul in this world but me!! I too try my darnedest to keep him supplied in letters and pictures. BUT, there are days I run out of things to say. Thats when the naughty comes in..lol I also print out myspace questionnaires and will send him one, fill mine out then they cross each other in the mail. I always try to be some what creative for him. Gotta help with that smile on his face and to feel loved and wanted
