Hello All,

My husband and I had a visit today and it was terminated because they said he was kissing too much. He is most likely going to get a ticket. Has anyone else gone through this? I'm super stressed and I don't know what's going to happen. If any of you have ever gone through this in a NYS Prison please give me some I sight. Thank you!!

I would guess it will be a tier 2 with some keeplock (not SHU) time--but that is a guess.

You won't know for sure until he contacts you. Hopefully it won't be anything that will adversely effect your visits, but it is possible. As Im sure you've read, DOCCS is becoming very strict with prison visitation rules and gearing up for all of the new policies going into place in October.

You should look into the directive on visiting. Did you guys get a warning before hand? That sucks that your visit was terminated but a tier 2 sounds excessive for kissing. I hope it doesn't come down to that.

Thank you all! He had another innate call me last night and this morning (thank Allah!) and he just said they may put him on keep lock but he will not lose his visits or go to the SHU. Which made me feel so much better!! Plus you all helped put me at ease with these posts as well. I thank you all again for your insight. I'm praying all this will be over soon for us all! And to those that are mothers I'm wishing you a HAPPY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!

Hello ladies!!

Wanted to update you and let you know what happened. They gave him loss is contact visits for 30 days with me only. Which is way better than I had imagined. I'll be missing him like crazy but he still calls everyday so at least I get to speak to him

I've decided not to go back up until the loss is contact time is up (would hate to see him and not be able to touch him). But it's not bad...it could have been much worst. Thanks again ladies. Take care and may Allah bless you.

when you do go back, they will likely seat you right near the COs. So be very careful to follow the rules to a tee!

@Momma Ann I know! We have only a couple more months left so we should be good. Although, we weren't doing anything against visit rules to begin with!!! They just felt like messing with us.

a little more than 2 months but still in all I will behave just as you said "a perfect angel" haha!

not giving them another reason to make things harder then they already are.

I just read that whole thread and bless you for your attitude and you are probably back on the proper visiting track by now, if not completely done with your time! I just married my husband at Attica and I do believe they are getting more strict, it's interesting to read your post and see that they got upset with something you have probably always been doing because it was always okay before, right? Well we have until the 2nd week of June but it's just in time for the first festival so he's happy because he'd already purchased the tickets. And yes we always act the same; never anything extra. I guess it was our turn that day. Thank you and congrats on your marriage! Don't let anything break you guys...much love
