Default New PV Time Served law in MO

My fiance is currently doing a treatment in Fulton. He had heard there was a new law passed in 2012 that basically states for every day served you get 2 day credit. Does this sound familiar to anyone? He keeps calling it the 6-12 Law. Basically it's supposed to replace PV's 12-12 dates if they have to serve more time. Can anyone help me with this? I have tried to look it up but without knowing more details it's pretty hard to find anything online.

I was told that there was something on MO.DOC.gov website but I've went through every new bulletin with a fine toothed comb and haven't been able to find anything.

Thanks again for any assistance anyone can provide.

Devon

I research in Louisiana, and you might find its a similar URL. Try Legis.state.mo.us. Or something, that has to do with law, legislation for the state of Mo.

Hey, my husband also said something about the 30 days served is 30 days off their sentence. It won't let me add a website on here, this is the title of the article though: Nixon Signs Changes To Missouri Sentencing Laws.
It is not for early release but it does come off of their parole/probation time. This is at least a start for you to research the topic. Hope this helped!
