Another inmate just called me from NFCF and told me my husband was transferred out yesterday afternoon with three hours notice! He was told he is going to either Arizona or Mississippi! His cellie was moved the day before and does not know to where either.

This man told me they are moving Blacks and Hispanics rapidly. Apparently this has somthing to do with the killing of the CCA guard in the Tennessee riot two weeks ago. I was told they are moving around the Blacks and Hispanics to change the racial numbers in their different prisons.

Friends, please add me to your prayers that he goes to Arizona, nearer to me, and not to Mississippi. I am devastated right now. This isn't our first rodeo, but this rocks my world.

I guess, looking at some good side of this, wherever he goes he will finally be off lockdown.

I'm hoping, for you, that he gets moved to AZ.

Oh, this scares me soooo much! I hope m'love does NOT get moved. I don't like him being on lockdown, but with me moving to KS, he is closer in OK and with us trying to get married...... I pray m'love does not get moved.

We had NO idea about this. In fact at his recent annual he was assigned his NFCF job for after the lockdown. He receives ongoing medical care and he has zero disiplinary actions of any kind. This is an absolute shock to us. His cellie also has no issues and these are both older inmates too.

If you had told me two days ago, I would never have believed this one.

I am absolutely shaken. I know it will be fine and we all have to roll with these things, but this came completely out of the blue.

The man who called me says things are moving fast there at NFCF for transfers.

Girl,
If I were you I would be calling both of the prisons on a daily basis trying to find out where he may be. I can't believe that they did that so quickly without any warning. Man, they just can't get their stuff together since Oct. I have no idea what to say, but I am so very sorry. I hope that this become a better road for the both of you. Keep your head up girl, you will get through this rough road too. Good luck and please keep us posted. I am curious to see what he has to say about why this went down this way.

Wow, on such short notice and I definitely pray that your LO's moved to AZ. I would love for mine to be sent back to AZ, without this terminal lockdown. Best part I'd be able to visit in a heartbeat...so much closer to Cali. Hope you hear from him very soon.

You will find a lot of information that will answer your q's about visitation here, in this thread:

http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=536509

I will say, however, a few ladies that have visited recently said they have gotten more strict in the dress code though...not allowing women to wear layered clothes (which I plan on making a complaint about); no flip-flops, sandals have to have a back; no hoop earrings; no tight clothes; etc.

Visits are contact visits, there is no dividers on the tables. Once the inmate sits down, he has to remain seated unless he is getting up to use the bathroom or when you get your pix taken. Only the visitor is allowed to go to the vending machines and microwave.

If you have any other q's, feel free to ask. Welcome to the NFCF forum!

Hey Ladies its been a whle since Ive posted...my computer was broken...Hesmyforever congrats on your graduation!!!

I was at visit a couple days ago and there was no word on inmates being transferred out. IDK. sorry I wish I did.

A memo was passed around detailing the lift up of the lockdown.. 50 and up first then in another week 45 and up so on on so forth. Word is that starting June 15th visits will be back to normal days normal hours.. Its not the best but it is better than nothing..

The visiting regs vary depending who is checking you in. Period. There are no consistencies....yeah Mrs whats her face... pain in the you know what!!! better safe then sorry... This place is crazy.

count is at 1:50 so if you arrive at 1:30 you may run into trouble as movement is limited right now.

My husband almost got sent to the hole today for asking again where his package is.

They told him they DO NOT have it, so stop asking.

So I called Access Securepack today and they told me it had been signed for at NFCF on April 9!!!!!!

So I wrote a letter to the intake sergeant and Access also called them and got their voice mail.

So we wait and wait and wait and......

As you know, my husband was moved with 3 hours notice last week. There wasn't much I could do over the holiday weekend but I began burning up the phones yesterday. I got unanswered rings forever, hung up on, and disconnected, and only got one nice human being.. a woman at Red Rock who told me he wasn't there.

And then this morning the CDC Inmate Locator updated his location to Mississippi.

It is what it is... and we will be fine. We are a strong partnership.

I now will become involved with the Miss. forum here which seems to be very active and really helpful. I'll still post here when I hear anything useful to all of you.

Thanks for being my online friends for this long time and I pray for all of you that your loved ones will remain safe and your family commitments stay strong and stronger!

You are so welcome to PM me anytime and if I can help you, pls know that I always will. Everyone STAY STRONG

Default Happy family

Well, the kids and I are going to take a road trip... to Oklahoma. We will be visiting on the 9 and 10. My kids are so excited, especially our 5 year old, he misses his dad so much, it's been over a year since they have seen him and it is long over due. I am just trying to make sure that we pack accordingly since things have changed some and I don't want to mess up in any way. I am so nervous and I'm freaking out which is just silly since I was there in Oct. (left the day they went on lockdown). I guess since the kids haven't seen him I just know it's going to be pretty emotional. We have a daughter going to college in Cali. so this is her opportunity since she's home in MI with us to come and visit and then we have two boys 14 and 5 and they couldn't miss that much school and they don't have long breaks... so as much as I hated it, they had to wait until summer and today is their last day of school.
Anyway, sorry for the long post, just a little excited.
I hope you all get lots of letters and phone calls and lots and lots of love from your loves. Enjoy your day ((hugs))
