Thats a great idea and long overdue. Our last get together was about 2 years ago and a lot of fun, so its definitely time. Do you have something in mind?

no i was hoping we could all agree on something because i want everyone to enjoy it and not just a couple people...we can go out 2 eat and drink or something what did u have in mind?

The last G2G we had was in Flushing Meadow park and we did a cookout. It was nice but a LOT of work and it was difficult for people to find us in the middle of the park when many people don't drive. I think it would be great to get together for a lunch or dinner type thing of course more centrally located so everyone can find us. Or if we did a park setting, maybe somewhere in the city where everyone can find us easily. Let's see where the interest is and go from there. Thanks for bringing this up!

I'd be interested in getting together. The park idea is good on everyone's budget. We could each bring our own lunch or meet earlier in the day and have coffee.

id be down for whatever' my son really enjoyed it also

i do agree flushing meadow was way too big' especially for those with no cars.

How far ahead should we plan? I think we all could use a good laugh like going to see that new Madea movie that's coming out *hint hint* but other than that, maybe a little picnic. We each bring a dish (my wings are to die for). That one would take a lil more planning. I will be out of town visiting future in-laws so please don't plan anything for the 2nd and 3rd week of July. PLEASE!!! Lol.

I'm off Wednesday and Thursday but should be able to switch up if you guys find the weekend better.

I'm for outdoor, everyone bring a dish type setting

I don't have any children but I'm guessing Sept may not be good for some with the kids going back to school and all.

I think weekends work well for a lot of ppl since most work on the weekday and the weekend is a way to wind down

A afternoon BBQ maybe because it's affordable and ppl can bring a dish.

July early August would be a good idea sincerest will b getn kids ready to go back to school late August

Really hope this plan can come together

I'm def in if its indoors or if its not too hot outside. My asthma couldn't handle being outside in the heat. Looking forward to this!!!!!

well since i may be moving out of state' i have no clue what would be good' cause im not sure when im moving. so just make whats best for everyone else. and i will do my very best to come if im still here. cause im always gonna be a new yorker and of course ill be back every 3 months so my son can visit.
