Progress house work release?

My son has a little over 3 months before his ERD. He's been approved for WR but hasn't gotten a bed date yet. Others he's with at Larch have gotten bed dates that have 5 plus months left before ERD. Is there a reason why he hasn't recieved a bed date yet? What if anything can I do to help him get to WR? Please help!

There could be numerous reasons as to why he's still waiting. Those other offenders could be releasing to a diffrent county then him ect. At this point, there is nothing you can do but wait until he's placed.

From your previous posts, it sounds like he's been screened/accepted and now is just waiting on an opening.

I found out what was holding it up. He had to sign a dental waiver which he did months ago. For some reason after he signed it, the waiver went to Shelton for dentist to sign. Never went any further. Once we found out that Headquarters didn't recieve it, they wanted him to go to Shelton to have the dentist sign off. He hates going to Shelton. He decided to opt out of work release since he has so little time left. It is really upsetting because he did everything he was supposed to. Lost paperwork! I called atleast twice a week to see what the hold up was. Finally after months....they said....Oh we don't have the dental waiver scanned in. And then said...well...he is not guaranteed to go because he is only "moderate risk" and there are no beds available until end of july. He comes home in first week of August. Oh well. Was hoping to be able to get him more of a transition than just coming home. But I am glad that the suspense is over. Atleast now I can plan on the day to go and pick him up and where.
