Default First Time In 4 Years - He's In Confinement

The last time he was in confinement was because someone had put a kite out about some esacape nonsense. It washed out - there was zero truth to it. Well that was one week after our wedding and I totally lost it.

But... Now for the first time in 4 years he's back in. And sadly, I think it may be for a while. They got him for introduction of contraband. So I didn't even get my Monday visit. Capt. came up to me as I was leaving visit on Sunday and asked if I planned on coming back Monday. I said yes and she rather abruptly told me not to bother, and not to bother for a long time.

I have no idea what is going on, what he supposedly had or why. Alls I know is... I Miss him already.

But I've been pretty strong this time around. Haven't cried or anything. DR court is on Thursday and I will be on the phone first thing Friday morning to see what we are looking at.

*sigh*

The hurdles in this lifestyle we lead...

Hope everyone is doing well.

I will pray for you to remain strong and don't let them break you. The correctional system and those who work there just is not designed to keep you and your loved one happy. I would call guidance if that is a option and speak with a counselor at the facility to discuss the details. Good luck.

Mine guy is in the hole too. I met him while working at the prison as a nurse. He has been charged with staff overfamiliarity and I resigned. We want to get married. Trying to get visiting approved. And most likely he will be transferred in 90 days

So sorry you're going through this. I think one of the reasons you're so calm right now is b.c you don't know anything yet. I promise the capt doesn't care how you're feeling and frankly had no right to offer her advice yet since he hasn't been judged yet. THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE!!!
Wishing you the best in your circumstances. Hope it isn't as bad as you might fear. Hugs sent your way.

Thanks Ladies, and Thank you Rachel I agree that she had no right to say that to me. He hadn't been charged with anything. But at the same time, I guess I could be thankful that she said anything at all, instead of just letting me show up for Monday visit (driving ALL that way) and being turned out. Some tact would be nice, though.

I guess the worst part of this - for now - is that the one year mark of my nephews passing will be this Monday (June 4). I really needed to be with him this of year. *sigh*

It's ok. I'm really sad about it. But I know I can get through it. I've done it before.

Yes I see your point about her letting you know but the way she handled it was uncalled for. She could have put it in a nicer way!!!
Sorry about your nephew anniversary. Sending hugs your way!!!

Intro of contro...doesn't that mean suspension of visitation for 6 mo to a year as well? They got Marty for that once and suspended his visits. I hate to hear that, I know it is rough.

It's been nearly a month...I think honey got 90 days jail time, gain time took and the kicker was they didn't notify him his visits were suspended until I tried to visit again. I was hotter tan the heat index was today!
