Where's the BEEF?

My girl tells me that yesterday's meal at the Ohio Reformatory for Women included real meat in their hamburgers.. That was a real treat for the ladies.. Usually they have what is called “all purpose burgers.” That are actually inedible,, and have more fillers than meat.. Now they didn't mention just what kind of meat it was.. might it have been road kill? LOL It was such a rarity that many ladies returned for seconds,, and sadly some went away eating left overs...

The average meal per inmate at ORW is $.82... Don't believe that they will ever see a tasty pot roast meal,, let alone a steak...

It's sad..what really made me think about it is our visits. He's so happy to see vending machine food (especially the chicken parm sandwiches) that I can't even imagine what they're trying to feed them :/

I know exactly what you mean, I always tease my son that I am taking to the Ritz But afternoon visits the machines are slim pickings. I just happened to see the Inspector General and went and talked to her about, it got some what better. The best part was the look on my sons face... No worries there, that was the person who waited for me after a visit, 2 days after I cc'd Gary Mohr. She was dripping with sweetness..
