How are the staff at Moore Unit TX Prison?

How are the staff and the conditions at C. Moore? Who is the Warden and how is his/her demeanor? Thank you.

Ive never had any problems, theres one female guard thats a little um how do i put this nicely..... overbearing, strict, scary. Other than her the guards have actually had nice conversations with me and played with my son and told me storys about my husband. c.moore is further than the last unit he was at (gurney) but they are soooo much nicer and our visits are much more enjoyable there I dont mind the extra hour drive.

I had my first visit with my son this week end. He caught chain from gurney on monday and when I called on wednesday the lady told me he will be allowed for visit this week end. I had a very enjoyable time, the guards were laid back and the people working at the reception desk were curteous and helpful. My son was able to make store a few days after he got there and his dorm can go to commissary every 2 weeks. He's in a dorm with 74 guys. Meals hours are crazy and only 2 meals on the week ends but it's the same way at gurney. I'm thankful that visits are contact visits and the overall environment is better for my son than at gurney. It's still prison but I heard Choice Moore is one of the better one. Gangs and tatoos are still there.
