Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hello, I'm new here gr689... My brother was recently sent to Northwest correctional facility in Swanton. I was wondering what type of privileges he has, such as tv; i heard they have one in every cell. He is also prescribed Suboxone; will he get the medication in prison. He has a 90 day stretch for violation of probation. Do they also have AC for summertime? I know its not 'clubmed' or anything but just wondering what his comfort level would be. I couldn't find anything on the forum or on the website itself to find out what everyday life would like in there. thank you

Hi and welcome my boyfriend was there before they closed down and was sent to KY. He liked it up there for the most part, yes it's not a Club Med but it wasn't a crap hole either. They just reopened NW to the men so with all hope it'll be the same and not worse. Good luck to you and your brother
