Default Darp?? Anyone heard of it or have info?

Okay so my hubby asked me to do some research on this place and I can't find anything! Has anybody ever heard of it? It's supposedly a rehab thing ran with or alongside the DOC. I'm confused. Lol

Thanks! That place is really close to where we live. I've heard of it too, just never actually tried to get him in it. The problem we're having is fixing a place that will work with the courts. All of the places want you to do an interview and stuff... But he can't do that because he's already locked up. Idk it all overwhelms me. Lol

are you talking about the RDAP program that is actually in the prison it's self.....only certain prisons have that program and you have to be accepted into it and it does mean possible transferring to another prison if the place you're at doesn't have it

No I'm pretty sure it's something different. It's like an in patient rehab sort of.

There is a DARP in Oklahoma that folks in the drug court programs get sent to instead of prison. Apparently it's a chicken processing plant with no re-hab. I am doing research and curious about what this place is. PM me if anyone finds out that this is a similar situation. thanks!

You are talking about the DARP program that is in decatur arkansas. It's a transitional halfway house. They take people that the court sends them and they take inmates from the DOC but the way that it works is the inmate has to write the DARP program. If they accept them they will submit their name to DCC and DCC will review to see if they are eligible to go because its a act kind of like a year kickout. If DCC approves them they send their name to the IPO at that unit to schdule them to see the parole board and then if they are approved they will get to go to DARP way earlier than their T.E. date but they have to stay there until their T.E. date before they are allowed to move. If they leave DARP before their T.E. date or without permission. They will be charged with a escape charge and sent back to prison.

Okay so I just wanted to update on this whole DARP thing.....
My fiancé just got approved to go there. He says that he will be working in a chicken plant. (gross) he also said something about furlows... So I guess we'll just have to wait and see. He supposedly can go when he reaches his class 2 again.
I'm going to see if I can find out anything else from them or him.
