Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

My sister was violated on her felony probation and sent to jail. Her suspended sentence was 18 months and I have custody of her 8 year old as of right now. Well she just called and her p.o is giving her a second chance and sending her to a 90 day drug rehabilitation program instead of prison!! I know for a fact God had everything to do with this, he sees how badly my niece needs her mother and answered my prayers! This is such great news to me I had to share . My boyfriend has less than 60 days until release and now this, I truly feel blessed and so thankful God was listening to me (: just had to share guys.

Praise God!!! Celebrating God's goodness and mercy with you!! He's so much more PRESENT than so many are aware or believe and cares about even the little things we care about!! Isaiah 49:16....He has our names tattooed on the palms of His hands!!!! WOW!!! Huh???!!

WOW is exactly what's on my mind! I've been praying to God for her every single night. That he could show her the way, that he would give her another chance. He saw how I was struggling to raise her daughter, He saw how much my niece needed her mama, he saw my struggle and he answered my prayers! Thank God indeed! Because there's no question in my heart he had everything to do with this! Thank you for sharing in my excitement and my blessing!

Thats great to hear!! Hopefully everything works out for her, and she is able to see the opportunity that she was provided.

Yes I really hope she does too because its a miracle she received this opportunity, and it would be a shame if she didn't make the most of it.

Thanks guys (: she's still in county, witch I'm confused about but I guess their waiting on a bed to open? I hope that's the case

Just found out I was right their waiting on a bed in the rehab place and she should be there and out if jail no later than next month. I'm gonna keep praying she learns what she needs to while she's there, and makes a full 360.

This is awesome news! I've been following your threads and with a daughter and baby on the way it would have been so hard to raise another child. Now will she get full custody of her daughter or will you still take care of her? I'm glad to hear this great news

Thanks! And as llong as she's clean and has proven she's capable, she will get her daughter back. I hope and pray she does cuz like you said I have enough on my plate right now and taking on another child would really be a struggle.

YOu want her to make a 180. Cause a 360 would be all the way back to where she is now.

(ok sort of trying to make it light)

I also hope she works this to become the mom and sister she should be!!
Shes darn lucky to have such a great sister as you.

(congrats on the other loved one coming home soon too!! fantastic!)

Yes great point lol! A 180 is better. And thank you I'm very excited about his homecoming and hoping my sister can finally get her head straight.

Praise the Lord! He works in ways we cannot fathom! God's plan for your sister is coming together...tell her to stay focused on the Lord! This is an amazing story!
