I have been listening to this song all morning, its called God gave me you by blake shelton and i can just imagine that every single one of your LOs feels this way about you. It goes on about how god gave them you for the ups and downs and the days of doubt. I think of you all when i hear this song .

You guys amaze me. You have all taught me love has no limits and when you find that special someone, regardless of the situation, it is such a beautiful thing (:

You all love your men for who they are, you don't let their past define them, and you stay so strong when you could easily break down. I know a lot of you did not wish for or expect to love a man/ woman in prison, but what you all have is so very special. There needs to be more people like you guys.

I just wanted to share that with you all, i wanted you to know i envy your love with your significant others, no love could be truer and more unique then an MWIs.

that is so nice of you and such a good song. i have to say that if someone told me that i would end up falling for a man in prison i never would have believed them. i never pictured this life for myself, at times it is extremely lonely. but at the same time i have never ever been happier in my entire life. you can't help who you fall in love with and its so amazing that someone can appreciate the amount of strength that it takes to be in an MWI relationship.

I pretty much said the same thing to my guy, Brandon. He said "Babe, I don't think anyone expects to be with a guy in prison or a married man. It's just how it works sometimes." Haha. He's married, that's where that part came in.
It's a very lonely life, much like having a new baby. However, I wouldn't trade it, either.

I'm a country music lover, so I admit I have listened to that song many times, imagining that it is pretty close to what he is thinking about me (He hasn't really listened to much country music). I have yet to find a song that speaks succinctly of my love for him... nothing seems good enough.

I never imagined I would fall in love with an inmate; God just kinda dropped him in my lap. I wasn't exactly looking for a prison penpal. I just had a pushy cousin who wanted her husband's celly to have someone to write. I'm glad that God does things the way He does things.
