Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

So I was at work tonight..I work at a candy store..so a guy walks up with his 4-5 year old kid and asks "do you have pop rocks" I look up from what I am doing and I said "Pop rocks?" and he basically interrupts me saying "you have beautiful brown eyes, they are so stunning" I was like "thank you" he says "can I take you out to dinner" I hold my hand up and say "I'm married" (in my eyes it should have ended at that)..he says "me too, does your husband not let you have friends?" I said "yes, I have friends" .. so I show up him the pop rocks..he says "can I have your number, can I get your facebook name" (in hopes to get him off my back) I say "you can leave yours" well he comes to pay and it's 93 cents..so I tell him how much he starts writing it down thinking I'm giving him my number.. psh I was like "that's your total" so he pays..he said 'you want me to get you some food" I said "umm no we're fine" he says "yeah, I'd eat you out" (some slick crap like that like umm say what?).. so he goes and shops for more candy, I ask my co worker to check him out this time, so she is kind of rude and he's all trying to be funny which he isnt...so he leaves & I am like really where is security when we need them..so I see his kid come over by the gum ball machine and I am like great..and he's standing outside the door. So I decide to go find security when I walk by he says "going on break" I said "nope" so I walk around looking can't find em..so I go back down and he's in an exhibit near my work and he is super just checking me out staring big time.. so I walk over when he isn't looking to a cop and security guard to see if the one I was looking for was working or not.. well a few mins later he comes and we tell him what happened..he told some other guards and the cop to watch so they watched him..then they walk off for a bit and he goes up the escalator and back down..past our store..and they followed him and finally I guess he left.

How freaking rude and disrespectful is that??

I mean the other night a guy said "hey" to me and I turned my head to say it back and I saw he was totally looking at my ass, but whatever..that's one thing..this was just totally out of line tonight.. he even said he'd seen us before, I am hoping my co worker remembers him in case he comes back.. douche-bag ugh.

Some men lack manners bigtime! They both were douchebags....I am glad you went to check with security, because you never know who else he might be hasseling, or even what he might do at some point.

He even got his kid involved told him to tell the girl I work with to stop being so mean.. while he was trying to put his moves on me or whatever the hell you'd call it..he turned around and didn't even know where his kid was.. I was like um really? My co worker was like instead of talking to her like that, why don't you watch your kid!

it was disrespectful and also abit scary and creepy..you did the right thing by finding a security guard..as for the one checking you out that is natural for a guy although he didnt have to say hey to you

Yeah my husband said that probably happens more than I even realize he just happened to say hey so I realized it..had he not said it I woulda never saw him looking lol. But yeah the one guy totally creepy at least 10 years older than me.. which I mean it's whatever nothing against age, but we're young girls at work just a lil weird for him to do that.

Even at work, you don't have to be that polite to slime.
Instead of responding to the inappropriate comments, just keep giving a jackass information about his purchase and then if the comments don't stop, tell him "I think my manager might be better able to help you" and walk away to go get someone else.
And if someone makes you uncomfortable enough to want security, don't worry about the jerk seeing you contacting the security guard... you're not the one doing anything at all questionable and you do not have to passively accept sexual harrassment.

A guy paying you a compliment or checking you out is not harrassment but continuing after you say you're married and, especially, making explicit comments IS and you should not feel obliged to let them get by with it.

Well I was the manager there last night so I had my co worker check him out the second time. She wasn't as nice. I guess I'm bad at being mean to jerks like that! I told her make sure next time anything like that ever happens & it's not someone I know intervene be mean to the guy please! She said okay

I kind of thought it was harassment too, maybe I should have made a report, but I know one security guard knows & I talk to him daily so he's aware if he does come back!

I was on a military base one time with some friends at the bar and I had a soldier with his buddies walk up to me and tell me he could slide 12 inches in me. I just looked at him and rolled my eyes and asked if he was going to do me 3 times to get to 12 and walked off. Couldnt tell if he said anything bback or not as all his buddies were laughing too hard at him

Omg that's too funny! I wish I could think that quick ... He told me he was married a customer said I should have said not to me (just not as nice-- he used different words that would get me in trouble on here lol)
