Before you judge me, what I say or what I do, please, take a minute to walk a mile in my shoes.
I live in a world of orange and green, a world where I see him behind glass or on a screen.
A world of twenty minute phone calls, every couple days, raising a child on your own, bevause he is away.
A world of holidays and birthdaus, spent without this man, if you've never been in my shoes, you wouldnt understand.
A world of countless miles, racked up on my car, because Id go anywhere to see him, doesnt matter to me how far.
A world where the mailman is important, sending letters everyday, reading how much he loves me, in his own special way.
A world of no wire bras, or bobby pins in my hair, as long as I can see him, really, I dont care.
A world of limited hugs and kisses, not being able to hold him close, a world where thats the part, I really miss the most.
A world of barbed wire fences, s million prison guards, a world where sometimes saving your relationship is hard.
A world that tries ti break him down, to take away his life, a world that tries to kerp away his children, and his wife.
A world of being both parents, for a little while, doing everything in your power, to always keep a smile.
A world of daily struggles, a world of silent tears, a world of counting down the time
The days, the months, and years.
A world of a million questions, asking why you stay, a world of replying with
"If it were you, you'd do the same"
So, go ahead and judge me, based on what you think you know, because, truth be told, I stopped giving a shit, quite some time ago
