Judge denied video conference

I feel like I am at a dead end. The judge denied our request for a video conference. She stated that both parties have to be present under PA law. What other options do I have? It is an inmate's right to get married isn't it? Well why are they making it so difficult & darn near impossible???? Help!!

No, its not an inmates right to get married-its up to the prison when you are incarcerated. Have you tried writing the warden?

that_wiz is right no it isnt there right. Once your going through the process it is up to the warden i believe to deny or allow you all to get married. Not trying to depress you even more but I have heard it be denied for any given reason. Like she also said write the warden and express how you feel and explain it to them and see what happens.

My fiance and i were going through the process of the getting all the paper work filled out and signed and everythig when he got transfered from a state prison to a county camp and they dont allow marriages at county camps so now we wont be able to get married until he gets home. So i pray everything works out for you both and yall are able to get married. Good Luck!
