My husband just ask me not to mention FOOD that we are cooking or eating! LOL He says his is lousy and not enough. He just transfered to Camp Hill. Hope it gets better, he loves his food and to cook! God, I miss his cooking!

I don't know if you'd "get in trouble" but it's probably not best to talk about things like that. Those calls are monitored & recorded and they (some CO's) can be aholes just because they can. Trust me I smoke weed, and my man knows this so if he calls in the middle of a sesh I can't really tell him what I'm doing when he asks but he figures it out lol but we are careful to not mention anything that would get anyone in trouble! We enjoy our phone call. (;

It is probably not wise to talk about shit like that, because calls are monitored and recorded. If your LO is in on drug charges, it wouldn't be wise to talk about doing drugs, even smoking pot.

From what I have heard, anything that could harm a person's criminal case, puts inmates and staff in danger, could cause problems.

Keeps things simple....and keep stuff like that for visits....I would anyway.

thats the guy who killed the trayvon martin kid. he lied about his money to make bond and he and his wife were talking in code about the money. now his wife is in jail for lying to the judge about how much money they had

Jesse and I pretty much talk about anything and everything. We have talked about his pill use but we probably shouldn't and really don't anymore.
The other day we were talking and I told him that Mitt Romney had came to our town that day. Apparently he doesn't care for him cuz he started getting ready to talk crap about him, but then he's like "I better shut up before I get in trouble".

It would be best not to discuss any illegal activity on a monitored/recorded line. It could get both you and him in trouble. I know a woman who nearly lost visits and her husband nearly got a charge because someone else was discussing a transaction and mentioned her name.

long as your not talking about killing someone or information that the court could use against him in his case then you are fine to talk w.e you want to talk about..me & my bf talk about everything under the sun . if you talk about "weed" im sure it wont get you in trouble talking getting high ,because it what it is "talk" .

If it's anything that could possibly used against him, then it's best not to talk about it. Leave those discussions for when you're in person.

We joke about stupid shit we used to do all the time when we were what we call "fluffin" ....it's an inside joke that would take a minute to explain, but we always use that word, and don't go into a ton of detail...
But that's true, it's along the same lines as if you were talking to a cop directly, you can tell him all day long you're high or do drugs, but unless you actually have it in your possession at the time it's hearsay
