Omg that crap happened to me and I thought I was gonna go crazy!!! Lol I ended up finding it in the Google play store but under like "all apps" which had every app I had ever downloaded.. even ones I had deleted so luckily I found it there.. I've seen threads of other ppl having the same issue. I don't think it's been paid for by the owner because he was in the hospital.. that's why it doesn't even show up. Hope it gets fixed soon tho.!

Okay ladies I have a question.! I really don't wanna call cdcr lol but anyway my babes transferring out of La Palma and I wanted to know if his visiting list will follow him back to Cali?? Will I still be approved to visit him once he's back?? I thought yes, right?? I asked and a lady in another thread told me I MAY have to apply again?? Really??

His visiting form will follow him. The only reason you would have to reapply is if yours expired which they sometimes do after 4 years and make you send another one.

I just signed up but have been reading all the posts since my son was transferred to La Palma. All of the posts and advice have been so helpful. I thank all of you that take the time to answer questions and offer support. I have a question I couldn't find an answer to so I thought I would ask it here. I just received a letter from my son and he has been put in the hole (fighting). How long are they usually in the hole for and can they receive letters, magazines and packages? I ordered a package for him last week unfortunately before I got his letter . I am so disappointed and hoping it will not get to him until he is let out of the hole. Thank you

I'm not sure how long he'll be in the hole for... but they will likely hold his package until his gets out... similar to what they would do if he was on lockdown. and I have gotten a lot of support here, too! and feel very thankful for it. Hang in there and be strong!

the time period will be determined on how much damage there was. and how his record looks like. case managers review all that.

yes, he can receive letters, mag, cards, and pictures.
no, he will not get his packages. they will hold it till he gets out or ask if he wants it sent back. if they plan on keeping him in there for a long time, he MIGHT be able to get SOME products from the package and the rest he will just have to wait.

he will be able to get a store list out for canteen but from my husband's experiences, they screw with them a lot. the guys can put a list out on Monday but wont get the right stuff OR the stuff wont come back til two weeks later.

you are also able to send him writing materials like stamps, envelopes, and paper.

ok, i know rumors are bad and not really reliable with the way CDCR is. but has anyone heard of CDCR bringing the guys back sooner than planned? my husband heard that today. and he wanted me to check up on it. he says as soon as the end of the year....

I know it's so unreliable but my man also told me the same thing. Also said something about the end of the year. Hmmm. I guess we'll wait & see.
My man told me that they're moving a lot of guys out of there right now, including him. They had already taken 10 of his homies back to CA. He's supposed to ship out last night/today. On Friday they put a list out of who's getting transferred, Sunday he packed his stuff & Mon night he was supposed to leave.

cost is O_O but i said Fk it. school's about to start and it will be even harder for the kids to get time off.

anyways, i'll be flying into LAX aug 8th. and driving to La Palma thurs night. yay!!! if any of you plan on visiting, i will see you there.

Good afternoon dolls! ♥ I am so glad to say that my love is no longer at LaPalma! (: He is FINALLY back in CA where he belongs! He ended up doing about 3yrs in OK & the last year at LP. He has not seen any of his family in all that time either, so I know they're excited to see him soon. We are soooo happy. I cannot wait to see him & actually sit next to him lol (: I just wanna say thanks to you ladies, especially you B'sWifey for all the helpful info & support during my loves time at LP.
