Default questions on transfers

So my husband is at duel vocational institute in California for reception. He's now waiting on being moved for mainline.

Is there anyway I can talk to someone to see if he can stay close to me and our daughter and family?

He is a level 3 and mule creek prison is a level 3 and that's literally 15 minutes from me.

I just want him to stay close. He's only a hour from.me now. I don't want it to be HOURS!

any suggestions advice??

I don't think it matters, they put them where ever they want.

My husband was due to be transfred to a level 3 prison and he got to stay in DVI because of it turning it into a level 3 prison. I got so lucky he's only 15 minutes away.

Question Endorsements and transfers to "home" prison

Hi,

What is your experience with how long endorsements are taking?

How long are your loved ones waiting to be moved?

Info much appreciated!

We waited 4 weeks before he was moved from Elayn to Phelps. They tell me it usually takes a month. I've seen other posts that it either took quicker or longer. Records couldn't tell me when he was being moved until just a day before he gets moved. Such a short notice!

My honey has been in reception at DVI since November 21, 2011. He has yet to see a counselor. There has been a BIG increase in transpacks in the past few weeks. About 10% of the population in his wing have moved on in the past few weeks. Looks like things are finally starting to move again! Heres hoping his turn comes SOON!

My husband has been in reception since 6/2011. Yeah a whole year and his endorsement has ran out twice. What's the deal?
