Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Please be aware that, due to difficulties arising from issues with Yahoo and AOL, we have changed our registration requirements.

Users with email addresses from yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk and aol.com will no longer be able to use them to create a new account.
We have had a long-standing problems with these mail services and have found that it is almost impossible to send out account activations to new users who have Yahoo or AOL providers.

Default Got married by proxy on 5-21-2012
Want to share my news I finally got married by proxy it was weird and all n the travel was crazy but I wouldn't change anything I love him n I want to say thanks to all the people on prison talk cause if I haven't found dis web site I wouldn't have new about proxy marriage cause these prison system are messed up much love

What does getting married by proxy mean how does it work my fiancé has 4 y 4m left with all his gain time credit and we were engaged before he went to jail and got sentenced I can't visit him cause I am a ex correctional officer and his warden said as long as he is warden I will not be aloud to visit him I am a security threat! HELP

It is when you get married legally, but u have to have an absentee form noatarized by ur fiance and return that w/ ur marriage license application. Proxy just means basically a witness who stands in place of ur husband 2 be. very few states allow it, but i know TX does because i am doing so in April. hope this helps.
