Default Do you ever feel like it's just a dream?

When I think about him coming home it feels too good to be true! Like a dream...it just doesn't feel like reality. Do any of you just feel like it's a dream and not real?

Yes I do. For me it is a move to the USA in two and a half years and actually all this feels sometimes like a dream. I am realized it comes closer every day but it is too far to feel real.

Oh yes, i get so nervous thinking about it too! I've kind of gotten used to a routine and not being able to talk to him everyday and then when you think about it....its weird to think that in X amount of time he'll be there. No bars, no walls, no glass, nothing in the way.

I do not think that dream feeling goes away for a while. My husband has been home a few months now and like at night if i wake up and he is not in the bed i almost wanna cry and think it was a dream. Then i will hear him up and giggle and say nah he is here.

Mine could possibly be coming home next month. (parole hearing) if he gets it, which is a good chance, I will not believe it. I'm so used to waiting and dreaming about it. I am so anxious to see what it feels like to have him home again. No short, interrupted, monitered calls. No more long awaited letters. Just him there, actually there. I can see him, touch him, kiss him. I just can't wait.

Yes I am so nervous, he has 13 days left, it seem so unreal, I can remember all nights I cried wishing he could be home with me and his time is finally here.....

Hell, I haven't seen my man in 30 years. We were young sweethearts that lost contact and I looked for him all this time. He's been in for about a year and still has two to go. But when he gets out, he's coming home to me! I'm traveling from Ohio to Cali to see him in October for the first time. We've been writing for 4 months now. It does seem like dream. I never thought I would find him. He never married while looking for me too! We're in our 50's but it feels like our lives are just beginning. I can't wait!

Haha, I just sent my hubby a letter telling him, "Don't pinch me cuz if this is a dream I don't want to wake up!" Thinking about being in his arms in 1 week after 5 years of him being gone is surreal!!!

I feel exactly the same. Hubby is due to release July 12th....he will be maxing out. After 8 years it doesn't seem like it can possibly be true that he is coming home to me. I'm anxious, scared, happy, elated.....you name it. All the emotions of the spectrum! Congrats to you and enjoy your reunion.

The day before he came home I kept pinching myself, really thinking hard... "is this really coming true?!". I couldn't get over it, the craziest feeling in the world. I'd have to snap out of it, crazy feeling. It wasn't a dream! He's been home for a month!
