Default Info on a medical hold at cmcf

Does anyone know exactly what it means when an inmate at the 720 unit at CMCF is told he cannot be transfered because he has a "medical hold" on him. Common sense tells me what it is= but he has been told another facility can request the hold to be taken off? does this mean he is stuck there until medical hold taken off? Who decides? Surely not a DR- bc he rarley sees one. Yes, he is sick.. He is 31 with Congestive Heart Failure, atrial fib, pulmonary embolisum, and hyperthyroidism... I know all that sounds bad but hes basically just given pills everyday. Rarley ever has his blood monitored even though he is on a blood thinner.. If all thats gonna be done is hand him meds- cant any facility do that? he would rather be transfered somewhere to at least attempt to get MET time.

If im not mistaken the dr will have to release the hold in order for him to be move to another facility but if he's only getting meds by mouth any facility can give him meds i don't understand why he has a hold on him are u sure he's not hook up to no heart monitor or anything

No machines .. He was at an actual hospital in april for fourteen days. Then sent to Raymond then to 720... I was told today that any inmate on blood thinners will remain there and I hate that. I'm glad I heard from him before I watched news tonight about the "riot/stabbing" that took place yesterday.
