Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

I have a friend in graham and I was talking to his mother the other day and she told me he had ask me to write him more. I said no problem, I was actualy waiting on a letter from him. She said well he only gets so many pages of paper a month and I know he wrote his son. So it may be next month before you hear from him. I forgot to ask her how many pages does he get.

Has anyone heard of this? Is there something i can do? can I send him paper?

Wow! I didn't know that. Can't he buy some paper at store? My guy has to buy his own paper and envelopes in Il but my brother in WI gets free paper but it is limited. I sometimes oreder paper and envelopes for him through the prison stores. Wisconsin has at least 3 stores that you can order from but I didn't think that you could do that in IL.

I don't know. I didn't ask her and she was giving me so much info I couldn't think.
That's why I was hoping someone with a loved one there could tell me.

Either in receiving or in Gen Pop...yes they have to buy paper. in receiving they are only allowed to go to the store like once, and very limited on what they can buy.
