Please! Is Louisiana using Securus only now?

Just received a call from securus tech that said to cancel my ICS phone co. Because all of Louisiana is switching to this new securus inmate phone co. Is this true? Or is it a scam? I need to find out soon, because I just asked for a refund and closed out my contract with ICS. My son is at Claiborne Detention in Homer La.

Just call the phone company you have now and they will tell you.

just sayin here. I dont advise a electroic bill. They are really messed up. took me awhile but now I get the bill in the mail and I even get to KNOW how much I owe them.

Dealing with Securus has been a nightmare for me! Wishing you better luck dealing with them than I've had.

The parish facilities and private facilities may not necessarily use what the DOC facilities use. I'm still talking to my husband, but we have to use Infinity.

It's OK now! It was either a scam, or a mix-up! O talked to DOC communications dept.

The whole phone has been a nightmare for me. When he was in Gretna I use Sercures then he goes to Hunts I use Global Tel then people are posting Sercures is the new DOC phone service so when he got transferred to Dixon where he still is I put money on Sercures well it's been two weeks and no call. My fiance tells me there is a block on the phones and the service is Global Tel so today I canceled with Sercures they kept telling me he hasn't tried to call I said Lady i'm reading his letters he has been calling then she says maybe he got transferred, No!! More like maybe you aren't the phone service for Dixon so back to Global Tel. The only thing is I only get 6 calls a month what kind of shit is that?

Angola just changed from Global Tel Link to Securus, maybe that's why the mix-up happened ...

My baby is at the police barracks and he just sent me a letter bcz they switch to securus tech

Private facilities are not. I've heard that Securus is cheaper though. Wish we had it!

All doc prisons are using sercures expect hunts and dixon, it still says coming soon for those two. My fiancee is at Dixon and we still have global tel but had sercures while he was in a gretna and sercures gave me no problems

My husband is located at richwood Correctional Center in Monroe. there, they use PCS. when he was in lasalle corrctional, we used securus--total nightmare!!! Dropped calls constantly and very expensive!! With pcs, the call cost half of what securus charged. with pcs, the calls are very clear and there has never been a dropped call.

That's awesome wish we had that. Global tel sucks so bad, they only allow 6 calls a month for the first three months then if u pay more u get 12 calls a month for the next three months then so on. And the calls are not clear at all, I can never understand him
