I can't stop smiling. I RECENTLY RE CONNECTED WITH MY EX WHO WENT TO PRISON A YEAR AFTER WE BROKE UP(6yrs ago) I've been writing him and I just received a letter from him saying how good and alive I've made him feel in the past couple months. He constantly stares at my pictures day dreaming about when he gets out (2013) i can't lie, I've never moved on from him. He was my first love and i still have so much love for him. It makes me feel like a school girl again.. i haven't been asked to be someones gf in years. I'm more than ready to take on that role with him.

That is awesome! My story is similar to yours. my honey and I reconnected recently while he was locked up and we dated twelve years ago! He asked to make it official back in may, after a few visits, calls and plenty of letters. Of course I said Yes and since then we've been so in love and he tells me all the time how happy he is to have me back in his life and how my love and support keeps him sane and motivated and I am so happy as well because there is no better feeling than to love somebody and be loved the same way in return! When we were together years ago we never ended on a bad note, just went our separate ways. I guess the saying is true 'if you love someone let them go, if they come back to you then its truly meant to be & they're yours forever'

Exactly! We are getting our 2nd chance with love. He is 8hrs away and i have no house phone so we only have letters for right now, i told him I'll figure something out. Congrats to you too my dear! We are all they have to keep going in that place. Their goals are supported by us.

Awwwww!!! This is so sweet! Congrats!!!! This story makes me so happy for the both of you. My fiance and I have a similar story too. We reunited after seven, almost eight years. We reconnected in October 2011. After many phone calls, letters, and visits he has made it clear that he wants me to be his future wife. Every letter that I get he asks me, and even asked in front of everyone at the prison on 7/21/12. I feel so amazing when I am around him, talk to him, write him, even think of him. So I know too well how you feel about your man! I wish you the best and much, much happiness in your relationship. Hopefully there will be wedding bells in your future too!!!
