Just wondering if there will be a August EPA this year? My husband said he heard about one and the dates are August 21st through October 21st. My brother also heard the same thing. If my husband's jacket review is August 15th and TE Date October 21st. And for my brother, his jacket review is August 16th and TE Date September 10th. Is it possible they will both make the EPA?

If the Backup list is under 500, no there will not be an EPA.

Hard to tell they just held the 1 year and the back log was only 377 according to parole board so its just up to how they vote on it...policy does say 500 but like I said they did the 1 year with less

My husband told me last week that they are doing the August EPA and he has already been approved for it.

And I'm still holding onto this n will be till Aug 31 if need be lol..I was just pointing out to the last poster that tho policy states 500 they had the 1 yr any way and it seems that if they require 500 for 90 day epa that they would require more than that for the 1 year!?..I'm just so ready for august just to know 100% for sure in black n white that they are having the epa and our Lo are coming home, only a week left in July..hurry up already!! lol

He's got the dates wrong if they do it it'll go farther than October it'll actually go into november. inmates make rumors and just say stuff.

At the June 28th parole Commission meeting, the following was in the minutes:

Chairman Felts reported that there are 14,861 inmates in the Department of Correction. He stated that there
are currently 377 inmates in the county jail backup. He also stated that the 1 year EPA is about to go into
effect and that will decrease the numbers considerably. Also, after meeting with Mrs. Wendy Naro, he reports
that the numbers are dropping and that Act 570 is really working.

Does anyone know how to find out for sure if a 1 year August EPA is in place?

They had the one yr epa last month..there is talk that there will be a 3 month epa this month. More recent board minutes should be available on the 16th. But a lot of places are saying it will start on the 21 and release should begin on the 28th.

you'll can leave the year epa alone because that is done with. they did one in june and they don't do year epa's frequently anymore. But there will be a 90 day epa which will start next week it will probably start on august 21 and end on november 18. But the thing is their te date has to be august 21, in between or november 18 when they actually vote and print the list out or they will not be on the list until they do a update the next month.

Hello I am new to this....my husbands te date is 10/9/2012 I have been trying to find out if they are having the 90 day earlyelease this August. How can ou find out if they made the list

he will be on the 90 day epa but it is no way to find out because it has not been voted on yet. once they vote it in then they will be working on getting him released if he's already seen the parole board and made parole and has a approved parole plan.

An EPA list came out today. I called the prison and spoke with the prison parole officer and she told me my guy was on the list. They are going to start releasing this week!!!!!!

the epa was voted on today by the board of corrections. if their te date is 8/21 to 11/18 then they will be on the list.
