Jluv12,

My son is in quick bed waiting to be transferred to who knows where. We aren't allowed to visit while he is in qb. I haven't seen him since June 4th and I don't know when I will get to either.

Yes we can write and he's also able to call on Saturdays and Sundays thank goodness. We're praying he will be pretty close to home whenever he is transferred.

TM- i dont get that because my bro in law is in QB there and his wife had visitation Tues or Wed night.

Really?!?! They haven't even given my son visitation forms for us to complete in order to visit. He was told when he is transferred to wherever he will serve is when he'll be given curtain forms to send us. I don't understand either. My son is in quick bed and came from R&C. He has been waiting for classification which he finally got July 2nd.

This is second hand -but he came from r and c to qb and they go see him every week. I would call up there to verify, in terms of your son.

Thanks for the info. I asked my son yesterday on the phone again and her said he hasn't seen anyone on QB get visits. I think I will call and find out myself. Thanks again

Hooray hubby has finally gotten moved to CMCF. It took alot of phone time and nudging ppl but I finally got a sympathetic co who made the call. Boy his pic on mdoc looks like a hot mess but he's my hot mess. I am so grateful and blessed he has finally after 4 months gotten started on his journey. Now if he can get processed and get to a & d he will be closer to home and contact visits !!!
T's mom- found out my bro-in-law hasnt been moved from qb because he refuses to take his meds!! Crazy

Glad he finally got moved. I hope he does get closer to you but don't count on it. We were told Tyler would be close (or within a reasonable distance). NOT he was moved 3 hours away.

I live in KS and my guy is in Yazoo City! I wouldnt mind meeting people in my area or somewhere close to talk with. A little support goes a long way!

The mighty Mississippi is a site I've heard that yazoo city isn't that far but I've never been there. I wish you guys the best too!

Hey you guys...I've been thinking of starting a support group for wives/mothers/girlfriends/fiancé of those who are incarcerated in Mississippi. I was watching prison wives today and saw that the all attended support groups and thought about the fact that we don't have one, at least not that I know of. Well, I want to start one. We could meet up at a neutral place or even do Skype or oovoo... I know it sounds far fetched, but we can't always get to a computer or feel like typing and sometimes you want that face-to-face interaction with someone who knows what you're going through. Well, it may sound crazy or far fetched but it's an idea...let me know what you guys think
