we also have the saying together forever, forever together tattooed on our chest . he has together forever and I have forever together... Love him so much!

I went for a visit and he showed me where he had my name tattooed on his for ARM ..at first I was like Wtf but when stated his reasons I started to look at it different we also have matching tattoos which were done before he went in..I dont know if I will get his name ..

I dated someone that had a tattoo (large on his arm) that he said his ex-wife has the exact same one on her arm. It wasn't personalized and I can't even remember what it was but I do remember always thinking when I saw it that his ex has the same one. Couldn't get it out of my head. I actually told him he should stop telling women he dates that his ex has the same one! I think if you get a tattoo it should represent something that means something to you, not a person because you never know what will happen.

Not each other name but agreed on a matching tattoo. He got it in there and I am getting mine for my birthday in a few weeks. He covered up a cross that had his mom name in it so he incorporated the anchor. So we will have the same anchor just different words in banner

Yes we both have each other names on us... He did it one day for valentine day but he wasn't in prison yet. And my husband does tattoos so he put his own name on me lol So in love

we both have several tats, but we don't "do" names.... His nickname is Wolf, so i have a wolf paw print on the inside of my ankle, and we have matching tats that we got for the 1st anniversary of our 1st date. It's a pair of wolves, tribal style, howling at the moon, and wolf eyes looking out from the moon. we designed it, drew up the flash and had the tattooist come to our home to do them for us.

i will end up with our initials on me, eventually.... he's designed a tat for me that will have a tree with our initials in a heart, carved into the tree...

My guy has all these tatts and he wants me to get his name. I said you're already inked up get my name. So he says he will but he wants me to get it also.... I'm skeptical about body art, permanent. I've seen some people get tatts of ppls names they've know only a few months. Wth? Not judging but ....common sense says..get to know someone first. I guess

My boyfriend is getting tattoos covered the 2nd day he's out because they are of his ex's name. I think you seriously need to think about putting someone's name on you. Maybe something meaningful for the two of you if you aren't comfortable with the name thing

I have my mans name tattooed on my ring finger on the inside ( beside my middle finger), running from the base to the tip and I'm in love with it. Ive been with him for 4 years.. So that kind of changes things a bit. Its my only tattoo... And I've never regretted it.. Just me thou.

And he also has the same one in my name.. But i got mine first. ( way before he went to jail).

I say depending on how long you've been together and if you've been stable through out your relationship, than why not! If your super scared than get it on a fleshy part of your body thats easily lasered off!

He's comfortable with getting my name. He takes tattoos less serious than I do.
I think matching tatts would be better than Names. Just my opinion

He has a tat of my name one his hand and ring finger but also has tats of other things that represents me. Like fav. number and nickname he calls me.
