Notice to new members intending to register - from January 9th 2012

Hey everyone!

Hubby is at the Marlin Unit and he has been gone for almost a year now. Only 1 more year to go! I cant wait to have him home. We have a 4 year old and a 7 month old that he hasnt met yet. I feel so lost and overwhelmed. It's been difficult relying on family to watch the kids so I can work, no one understands why I stick by him. He is a RSO so I'm not sure how things will change since he will no longer be on probation. It happened 6 years ago in high school (he was 17 and kissed a 16 y/o) and we are paying for it now. So glad to see there are support groups out. We all need some. Thanks

Welcome to Prison Talk. I hope he comes home to you soon so you can be a family again.

If he is not on parole or probation, he will only be required to comply with the TX sex offender registry laws and residence restrictions, not the dreaded TX parole condition X, which is a very good thing for both of you. I wish you the best.
