Has anyone heard about New River reopening as a Correctional Facility (Private Camp)? There is word going around and just trying to see if any of it is true.

I've heard the same rumor... supposedly they want to consolidate four prisons into that one. But let's not get all hyped up until we hear something concrete!

That would be a classic Rick move to get around some of the privatization issues...close the prison and then sell it to his buddies and reopen it as a private facility.

That's exactly what they are doing. Indian river just closed and they are having inmates go there to clean up and maintain it until its sold.

There is still news out there that New River will be reopening. They are going to convert it to a private facility and rename it. Has anyone heard anything else?
