I ordered my husband new sneakers and some other items online on 7/13. I received an email notification from Access on 7/18 that his package had been shipped to him and he let me know on 7/26 that he received it that morning.

So, let me see if I understand correctly. If I order a food package, for like a birthday, that package can be one per quarter not to exceed $100. This package does not affect my loved ones weekly allowance at the canteen, correct?

Correct. And you can only order for him if he didn't place an order for himself during the first month of the order period. So you can only place orders for two months out of each quarter. And make sure that everything he wants/needs that quarter as far as clothing is in the box since he only gets one order.

Are the Food Packages and Clothing Packages considered the same? I know the next clothing package order is in September. He is not going to order his clothing in August.

Want to do a Food Package for his birthday in November, which I believe I can order in October (23rd last day according to the website), but don't want it to count against his canteen weekly allowance.

So would that be one Clothing package for $100 and one Food Package for $100 maximum?

I'm not sure if they are allowed one of each or just one package total. I thought it was just one package on any kind per quarter and thats what my husband said to me, but I think I've seen others say differently on here?

Spoke with a representative and they said it is one package each. You can order a food package anytime during the quarter. Property Packages are the second month of the quarter as long as they have not ordered one themselves.

What's going on with Access Securepak? I thought we could order $100 worth of items. I ordered shoes ($63) and was thinking about ordering socks, too. Hubby knew I was going to order shoes and didn't order anything himself.

I logged in and this is what I got:

It's not just a dollar limit - You can also only order one package. So you can order $100 but it all has to be in one package. So once you ordered the shoes and had them sent, you are done for the quarter on the clothing order.

That would require a level of customer service that isn't exactly offered by Keefe.

I have tried several times to send a package to my guy and it always says he's not eligible to receive packages at this time. I don't care what month/day it is, since he's been moved to FSP he's never been eligible.

Is it because of his location? Because he's CM? I've been trying to figure this out for the longest.

If they are in confinement they don't get packages and they can't order from the canteen. Not sure about clothes....

I'm pretty sure it's location. FSP holds death row, doesn't it? Max security issues. And I looked up a few inmate numbers, checked them on AccessSecurePak and they all said "not eligible to receive packages at this time".

Ok I have a question: How many days does it take for a package that you order for your inmate, take to ship out?
I order a food package for J on 9/14 and it still says pending shipment, and my bank took the money out, but that says pending as well.

The guys have to order the MP3's themselves through the canteen at the camp.

My Guy told me today the music players have to ordered by them at VSP and it can take 3 months for him to get it....after he makes the request
