Federal poss of a gun...27 months fed time! 2counts of man/dis and 1 poss dropped to 1 man/dis 2nd and got 5 years state! It was to run together and under the new statue 44-53-375b it was suspendable but now he is sitting stuck doing 85% with a parole date of march 2013! SCDC messed him up!! Hopefully our lawyer can fix it soon!! He was supposed to be home Dec 1st!!!

Simple possession, aggravated fleeing and eluding - sentenced to 30 years as a habitual non-violent offender in 1999 at 85%. No parole in Florida, so he'll be out in 2024.

I don't think m'love would want me to put all his business out there like that by telling what he did...but I will say that his actual "sentence" is 5 years 4 months, but being in Cali, the judged tacked on an additional TEN YEARS in enhancements. If you ask me, that is beyond ridiculous! Sigh. And, being a Cali inmate, he has to do 85% of his sentence. Release date is in 2017.

Default Plea Deals Suck...

My guy copped a plea to murder even though he was actually just an accessory. Unfortunately, he had prior felony drug convictions so he had to take the deal to avoid federal armed career criminal charges. He was sentenced under Oregon's Measure 11 guidelines to a mandatory minimum of 25. He has 15 in...

My soul mate was accused of shooting his x in the face. Problem is that there was no gun, she shot herself when he left the house and the alarm went off (we own an alarm company, so dont you think he would have known the alarm would have called the cops?) Not to mention she shot threw her cheeks with her mouth open. Didnt brush one tooth. Our defense attorney allowed 10 woman on the jury, didnt bring in any professionals as witnesses (we plead not guilty for jury trial) No justice at all served. His charge was Agg assault with deadly weapon bodily injury... He was sentenced to 50 yrs NO PRIORS AT ALL...

My man is in for kidnapping to commit carjacking,
kidnapping to commit robbery, kidnapping, carjacking, second degree robbery,
false imprisonment by violence, making criminal threats, and possession of a
firearm by a felon, with findings of personal weapon use and the commission
of criminal acts for street gang purposes. He was sentenced to 36 years - life. Were fighting it all right now. It's been a long process this far. He's been in for about 7 years.

Honestly, it just makes me want to scream and cry that my fiance got 30 years for non-violent drug offenses (possession, no intent to sell) when I see what others have answered here. Sorry, just had to get that out.

DAQ, that is a terrible sentence. I'm sorry to hear it and I also think that 30 years for non-violent drug offenses is just plain stupid. Hang in there!

Do you live in the states or canada? My man had the same type of charges just not a firearm- weapon instead and he got two years minus a day- so his parole is after 8 months (this jan 11th)... Thats a lot of time for those charges!

That's like when I think about his charges I get upset because it holds 5 to 20 years per person

My husband has 70 years for 2 murders 1 that he committed and 1 that he was set up on. But we have won 2 appeals on that case and now we r going for a 3rd so that we only have a 40 year sentence. Texas sucks dont ever get in trouble there cuz they will screw u

I am very surprised at the nievity of some of the women posting on this thread.

Ya'll are describing crimes while these men are still in trial or in an appeal process. Ya'll are saying they are guilty under blah blah blah circumstances. WOW.

This is a public forum. Families of victims, police, prosecuters, even judges could be on here reading this stuff while ya'll are putting all thier business out there for the world to see.

Wow it makes me extremely pissed to think some of u really believe that 1 mans crime is better fit for a punishment than another. My fiance got 25 yrs for burg of habitation with no weapon n no one physically hurt.

So are you saying it doesn't bother you that some people got far less than that for murder, attempted murder, and other crimes where someone DID get physically hurt?
