Can anyone give me a list of everything you CAN send to an inmate in NCCF? Please don't link or copy/paste from the lasd website, I have seen it and it's not answering my questions. Also, it says no blank envelopes and no stamps. Can I put my address and a stamp on an envelope so it's not blank? Can I put a few sheets of blank paper inside the envelope? What is the cheapest place to order magazines for an inmate? Thanks!

I won't link you to the website, but really that's all you can send.

No you cant send any kind of extra stationary... no paper, no envelopes - written on or not.

As for magazines, I like mymagstore.com for single issues and amazon for subscriptions.

Uhh I think I posted at the wrong forum a while ago. Sorry guys; just been wondering and I really don't know what's going on. Maybe one of you has a loved one in NCCF who you just recently spoke to tonight that somehow knows what's going on with the system with NCCF. Maybe all of the inmates from NCCF are showing weird locations today. We spoke to him this afternoon and he said he's still at NCCF, but lasd.org says he is in CJ. Ahhhhhh! I don't know what to think now; if it's him lying about being released, or it's the website. Any response would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

When your LO called you what location did the machine lady say?? Did she say "Men's Central" or "North County Correctional" ??

My dude only has about 2 months left after be in the county for 1yr. He was doing his state time in county and managed to stay put in the same place for 10 months then all of a sudden he starts getting moved around like crazy. Every time they move him, they don't even change the facility up...all they are doing is moving him from dorm to dorm within the same building and it's starting to get him stressed/pissed off because you know the "roll it up" call gets him excited and well it plays mind games after being in there so long and seeing others getting out before him who have been there shorter amounts of time.

Does anyone know why all of a sudden they are started to make these little petty moves? Like I said he only has 60 days left after being in there for about 11 months.

hello, well from my experience at wayside this pass sunday after not been there after 6years , it refresh my mind alittle , well you dont need a form youll get it in there once you pass the check point , but for sure you would need his booky number date of birth, and ur validated Indetification Card.. dont hesitate to ask for help in there cuz i did.. oh and try not to take strapless if u do make sure to take a sweater, i dont know how come they make a big deal about that but not aboput daisy dukes, oh and i was told visits are done at 2pm. no cell phones are allowed . good luck have a great visit.

Im driving up this weekend but my car isnt registered so im not driving onto the property due to if the stop me i dont want a ticket....

i drive to a near by park over there and take a taxi up...if your down im taking one other girl and my sister in law....

i got a seat. were in NCCF where is ur man at pitches or NCCF same place just differnt areas

i use to go see my man every weekend in the bus because i didn't have car, hope this helps for some girls. i use to take the blue line going towards downtown la all the way to the last stop, then take the red line going towards north hollywood all the way to the last stop. go upstairs and where the bus stop is at you would have to wait there till the santa clarita bus comes which is 757 i think but you will know its the santa clarita bus because is blue at it ssays it there. it comes every hour and start at 8:00 am. from there you get off in the Mcbean station. and then right there you can take a taxi or you can take the number 1 bus, before going inside the bus make sure to ask the bus driver if he goes towards the stop nearest to the jail. I perfer the taxi because he drops you off all the way to the county jail and you dont have to walk. hope this helps.

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows if there was a Lockdown at the North County Correctional Facility on July 17th, 2012? I tried contacting the facility but they claim to not keep record of that.

I have no idea... is there a reason you need to know?

I highly doubt if you will be able to find out for sure if there was a lockdown that date.... We're talking over a month ago.

I was trying to find out because I have been having difficulty with a DCFS Social Worker where she has a history of lying. She recently stated in a court report that she went to visit the father of the child on July 17th, but couldn't visit because they were on lockdown.

I was only curious if anyone knew. Personally I would have thought the facility would keep records of when they went on lockdowns for whatever reason.

They were on lock down Saturday, but my husbad called me yestarday morning, but he was suppose to call me again in the night but didn't, hope that helps
