I don't think your marriage package will get denied...it's just that as long as they are not approved they cannot be there that day of the wedding because any person present at the wedding must be approved to visit that inmate

Also does the copy of my ID HAVE TO BE COLOR COPY OR BLACK N WHITE AND DO I NEED TO SEND MY ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR A COPY AS WELL...

It depends sometimes they might lagg to give a marriage date but if u notice there lagging it call and bug them about it so they can give you a date ASAP :-)

You have to send your original birth certificate and you will get it back the day you get married. I sent my ID copy in black and white.

I believe any persons listed need to be approved visitors when they process the application. I myself would wait until the guests are approved, better to err on the side of caution.

He makes the first step I believe, by contacting his counselor and requesting the marriage packet, which is 5.00 I think. Also, if you go back to the beginning of this thread and read all the posts, u will get a lot of helpful info from all the ladies here that have alredy posted. Hope this helps.

Congrats on getting engaged! He needs to send a slip to his counselor stating he wants a marriage package and he sends a trust withdrawl slip for $5, once he receives it he sends it out to you, once you fill it out, you send it back and then the marriage counselor will call you and verify the 'brides letter of intent' and then it goes to his counselor, then the CC2 and theeennnnn back to the wedding coordinator to book your wedding date. My whole process went very quickly, while there were bumps in the road we are married and that's what matters most

Well I know that they started marriages again at the facility from my love. Once he knew and others were getting married he proposed! Anyway aside from that it's a hassle getting ahold of viviana. Smh. I CValled all week but Lisa her assistant answered. Saying she's on vacay until next week. To call back then and I see responses similar in past so I'm wondering how long it will take to get ahold of her. Aside from that I had a question to what can be worn. Does anyone know they will accept a dress thats appropiate in length but strapless? Would it help if little coat was worn? Please let me know....Thanx! Much appreciated

I think if the lil coat it attached somehow, like if u sew it so its together. I have put a small stitch in clothes that I have worn and then pull it out before I get to the visiting room. Lol

Hello ladies....I have a question I had sent in my package at the end of aug and I received a piece of paper on Sept 6th and it said to filled out n put ur name as u want it so I filled it out n sent it back the following Monday n I havent received anything from the marriage lady nor I can't get thru her line!!!!  I'm just wondering what is her ext again?!!! Or how in the world can I get ahold her... I wanna marry my honey already!!!

It all depends.. My husband had to request the package 4 times before it was finally sent to him. I hope yours it quick. =) I have heard from a friend of mine you now do need his birth certificate as well.

What the heck do they need his birth certificate for? I thought they use it to verify the identity of the bride; if they dont know the identity of the groom already then WTF???
