OK, i already get rides... but i was wondering if there is any other way to get to Stafford Creek Prison...Sadly, I don't know how to drive. So, renting a car is not an option. Does the Greyhound go to Aberdeen? If not, is there anything besides the pfcom van that goes out there?... i would be willing to catch it, but i want to see my man more than once a month.I would be willing to pay for gas money, I just dont want to be paying 200 dollars a month in gas money on top of commissary and phone time

. Anyone?

Have you tried calling the bus station and or the prison?

I have never been there so I dont know, but those would be my guess to try.. Maybe someone will be around soon that knows..

our babies can be pretty expensive for being in Prison....lol

I'm not sure , my man is at Stafford Creek. Have you looked at the Grey Hound Website or Call them, I would call the prison and ask them, call before 4pm b/c they are usually gone after that time.

No im looking right now for mom i have a number... The church goes down the first week end of every month ,they pick her up at the tacoma dome however i have the number at home. They alternate facilities,,let me look

I was looking into the info about the van ride that goes to the prisons. (Stafford Creek) I believe it was prisioners for christ outreach minintries. I am really interested in this but noticed that their schedule for pickup times and days is not accurate ,it is still for 2010. Have had no luck calling the number that is posted in the DOC website. Has anyone ever used this service or know if it is still available? I would like to contact them. Thanks.

The number to call for the Van ride is 1-206-914-0694. You will get a voicemail with directions on what information is required and then they will call you back

I am also looking for someone to ride with that goes more then once a month. I would like to be able to spend the day visiting instead of just a couple hours once a month. If anyone is interested please let me know and I can work out gas money to help. I live in the Lakewood area.

It seems there are a lot of people at Stafford that come from the Tacoma area...hopefully someone will come along to help you out!

I live quite a ways further north but I would also like to find someone to rideshare with. I went a couple weeks ago and the gas alone was $65. Can't be doing that very often. If we have same visiting days, maybe we can work something out. Feel free to message me.

I sent you a message in response to this but my computer has been messing up so I'm not sure if it went through or not. Just in case I will answer here as well. The van isn't to bad at all. It's a long ride and they stop in Aberdeen at Mcdonalds before getting up to Stafford Creek. Everyone is really nice and they were all very helpful since it was my first trip up there. The only thing I don't like is that it's only once a month and we are only there for a couple of hours. I would like to be able to spend a bit more time visiting. I don't know about visiting days but his Unit is H3 if that helps any. If we do have the same visiting days I would like to see if I could chip in on gas and ride with you. That would be great.

I and my lil girls see my hubby at stafford creek every scheduled Saturday for his visit, which means I go see him every other weekend I spend my whole day there as I always think why would I spend my time an money to be there for a few hours unless I got things todo....I'm from parkland area.

My man is moving to stafford in a few weeks I live in portland oregon and its been over a year sense Ive seen him if anyone can help contact me. or give me advice on a place to stay in tacoma for a night or two.

I'm looking for a ride to Stafford Creek, will of course share gas expenses. My son's visiting schedule is yesterday (Saturday), the 16th & Sunday the 24th for this month. I am also available Fridays & Mondays. I'm coming from Shoreline/North Seattle.

Dont have a car willing to help with gas would prefer Friday or Monday day visits. Anyone want to carpool please,let me know. Seen my man once n August. First time in four years. Havent seen him since.
