Would you give up music or television for a month?

In October I will have given up TV for a year. It was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. Iam much more productive and less depressed.

I just told my hubby the other day I want to get rid of cable again. TV makes me lazy!

I don't have cable or a TV, so I could do without that. Music has been my heart since birth, so that's a no brainer.

i took cable out in 05, had an antena for basic tv but it broke long ago. kids complain sometimes but oh well.

i think tv is incredible stupid and the types of shows they have these days are not worth a moment of my time anyway, i would much rather read a book and use my imagination.

i get news from the newspaper and the internet, this way i cvhose what i want to read and it cuts the unnessesary crap.

i love silence in my home and only listen to music in my car.

I dont have cable or satelite...i notice i do other things, besides being stuck infront of a screen. I dont have a lot of music either...will put something on when the mood strikes. appreciate silence.

No tv ever. My kids all grew up without tv, so much else to do. I'm a music director and I sing solo there is no chance I'd give up music. Even if it was taken from me my heart sings.

Do not have cable, haven't had it since this prison stuff began. One of my sacrifices. I have not really missed it and done well without it. I rarely watch the television, so yep I could give up the television. Music, probably not. I only really listen to it in the car, but I need something to occupy my time when I am driving to the prison! After that, might be able to let go of it.

ok when I read the topic i thought there was a catch lol. I was thinking for him to see him and get to be with him ALL OF IT!!! I can't give up my TV I dont' have much of a social life I work and deal with him and my daughter so TV I need music sure why not!

OMG, not for a day I could go without music. TV doesn´t matter to me. Don´t watch much, but I love MUSIC.
