Default Need to know how much it costs for an inmate to get a divorce

I need to know how much it cost for inmate t get a divorce in there please please any one

It depends on what they have together. If they have a couch from Goodwill, a mismatched set of Corelle and an X-box, they can probably just pay the civil filing fee (maybe $75-$100) and file pro se. If they have a couple of kids, a dog, a mortgage, a boat, and a timeshare... he’s going to want an attorney and all the expenses that come with that.

When my ex got a divorce in federal prison it cost him nothing as he filed a fee waiver. He filled in all the paperwork and filed it himself and he and his ex wife has no children or shared property so it was very straight forward. It really depends on the situation.,

Most of the time they can do it for free with a waiver as long as it's uncontested divorce. Also, on the flip side, Do you know anyone in Kansas that can help with proxy marriages? We missed each other in May, let me know when you are going back to Coleman. Pm me.

Free!!! he just need to file a waiver with it as well as file Pro Se and hes good!! I believe that is how it works in every state while they are incarcerate.
