Sounds like there is some sort of violation to deal with before he can be released. Hope it gets cleared up soon.

Did you look on the ADC inmate search website to see if there were any detainers filed against him. This is a remote possibility. Did the IRO use the exact term "security hold"?

He has no detainers. The iro didn't say anything a co instructed him to go back to the barrax and a lt from the barrax said he prob has a sec hold or disciplinary pending. His counselor looked and said he didn't see a pending disciplinary. He asked to speak to the major about it and the major won't speak to him.

That's exactly what i think they are doing. They don't have a reason to hold him but there's nothing we can do about it. There's no disciplinary and no hold. Abusing their power. Personal vendetta

How long ago was that? Could you possibly write a letter of apology?

Sorry to butt in I just started a Post about my man.

Long Story short he is to be release Dec 3rd

Yesterday we had our visit canceled early because there was a C.O. working who does not like my man nor me. He said because we were kissing. My man did try explaining to both C.O. how we weren't kissing etc.........finally we walked away. But before we did the C.O. that don't like us said and you are getting written up for this.

Soooooo I'm stressing now not sure if I'm going to be able to pick him up Dec 3rd

I heard this story here were seems similar thing might be going on if I'm correct.......

ADC Inmate Search is the Arkansas Department of Corrections Inmate Locator whihc is on the web at https://apps.ark.org/inmate_info/index.php

IRO is the Institutional Release Officer, basically a Parole Officer assigned to the prison to process inmate releases. The IRO works for Arkansas Community Corrections and not ADC

Call Constituent Services at 870-267-6385 or the main number at 870-267-6999 and ask who the IRO is for the facility your loved one is at

The only thing that could stop him from being released is a pending disciplinary. He had to do something to get a disciplinary.
