My loved oneís TPM is September 2019. Can you tell me how to do a countdown thread? Also do they ever get out before the TPM? His PED is in June. We are in GA.

For all those having loved ones coming home in 2019, have your LO’s signed paperwork done to get their birth certificates and social security card? I’m wondering does this mean that he’ll come home early? His PED is next month (June) but his TPM is September 2019

I know getting their birth certificate and social sec.card are routine here in Texas for pre-release. Sorry I can't help. I'm not familiar with Geogia whether they get out early... But Congratulations!

I can't answer the Georgia questions, have you looked in the Georgia forum? At Georgia's parole board's website? Georgia Statutes on parole (Statutes are usually found on any given state's legislature webpage )?

For a countdown, just create a new thread in the Countdown forum that includes his release date. I'll count down the days with you to the day of his release

Default Its here!!! (or not)

After 2 years, the day is finally at hand!!! The other day I peeked at the website not expecting it to sa anything different than it had been for the last 6 month.....I was so unbelievably excited to see Special Instructions for Release and a date that was a week away!!!!! ...but at the prison things have been routine, and they still havent said anything to him about chain or release. its like they didnt get the memo. is this normal??!

Default YES

Hubby will be going to the halfway house on June 6, 2019 and coming home in September 2019 I am beyond excited. It has been 7 long years. But certainly worth the wait.

Default He is home

Friday, right before the holiday weekend started, we picked him up in the parking lot. We had been there about 2 hours and decided to leave to use the rest room at the gas station up the street. Of course, as soon as we got there my cell phone rang with the CO stating they were in the parking lot but couldn't find us. We did our business and drove back. Immediately, he stripped off the prison blue t-shirt and badly made jeans (all too large for him) and put on the cargo shorts and short-sleeved Henley shirt I had bought. It was so good to see him in something other than orange.

We made him sit in the back seat so he could entertain his 3-year old niece who had been talking up a storm. (he is really good with little kids). She had been telling everyone on her trip to AZ from WI, that she going to rescue her uncle out of the "gulag".

His parole officer had decided to wait until the Tuesday after the holiday weekend for the first meeting, so we had a relaxing weekend with mom, son, daughter, and niece.
