He's been in eleven, we have eight more as it stands now, however long it takes. I love him today, the future isn't promised, I try to focus more on what I have than what I might get. I couldn't be with anyone else, can't even imagine it.

I've been by my baby's side for a year and a half. He has 3 yrs and 9 mos left! Woo hoo!!

Eddy and I will have been married 8 years next month - together almost 10 years. He's been gone almost 3 years with just under 6 to go. He maxes out in 11 years....I'd wait that long, and beyond, but I pray I don't have to and that I never have to go through this again.

He's only been gone since June 2003. I miss him more than anything...it seems like the days get longer the closer he gets to being released. Even if he had to serve all of his time (he gets a year off for completing the drug program), I'd still be waiting.

We've got 3 kids & more than 11 years of marriage. It hasn't been all roses, but there have been some tough times behind us. We'll be together forever...the Lord promised me.

my man has been in since july of this year. he has 2 more months to go. i would wait as long as i have to, he's worth the wait

I have been with Matt off and on for 7 1/2 years, he has been in 6 1/2 years, and he just got set off with parole till May 2007, but his max date it May 2008 and I will never leave his side again....I am down life four flat tires!!!

He's been in for 6 years and so far I have been waiting for 2 years and 6 months. We still have up to 4 years to go. I will wait no matter how long it may be. I love my man with all that I am and so much more! We're in this together every step of the way.

Hey Ladies! My boyfriend has been in since April 2004 and won't be eligible for first parole until April 2010. But max is April 2016! Hopefully we make the first parole. And I have been with him for about 3 1/2 years. Thanks for letting me share =)

I Love My Husband So Much That I Could Never Even Begin To Put A Time Limit On Our Love And Marriage. My Husband Has Been Down Since 1995 But We Got Together In 1999 And Married In 2000 So We Have Been Down With Each Other For 5 Years Now And He Will Not Get Out For Another 10years(2015). I Always Have And Always Will Stand By My Man Through Thick And Thin, It Will Always Be "us" Till Death Do Us Apart!!!

This is the first time reading all of the replies since I started this thread. I have to tell you, I was thrilled to hear all of your replies and how you felt. Our men are sure lucky to have such determined individuals by their sides to help them along. It's tough being apart wether you have only months or years to wait. I know it's lonly at times without them around, but life would be so much more lonly without them at all. These guys go through a lot where they're at, and I'm sure treasure all of you for sticky by them through tough times. I'm pretty new to this site, but from reading other threads, I feel so much better from all the support that's on here. Good luck to everyone, you're all doing great, and remember that through all rough times that may occur there's some amazing memorable times on the other side of every bump!

Chris and I have been together 1 & 1/2 years and that entire time he's been in prison. He goes in front of the board in June and the very very worst case senerio they can keep him until 2011. I decided a long time ago that I will wait as long as it takes. With the kind of love we have there is no such thing as waiting to long.

I would rather have him under these conditions then not have him at all

My husband and i were married before he went in. 10 days before he was incarcerated we found out that i was pregnant. When he went in i was 3 weeks pregnant with our daughter. She is the first and only child for the both of us. He has been gone for 2 years this month. It has been hard on our all of us but thank god he is only 2 hrs awy. We live in Texas so we really dont get phone calls. My husbnd and our daughter have a very strong bond so i am happy for that and those visists. We are in this til the end for we are married and both my husband and i think of marriage as highly scared.

My guy and I were living together for over 3 years before he was incarcerated. He was in prison for over 5 1/2 years before he was released out on parole. I waited for him throughout that time. He doesn't live with me but I do get to see him on some weekends and whenever we can (he works 7 days/week and I have so many things going on besides my kids and work).

I promised him that I would wait for him and I did. I give all you faithful women props for hanging in there with your men!

Raven and I have been together almost 8 months, he has been down 9 1/2 years could be out as soon as June 2005 or up to 30 months after that. I am in for the count. I adore my husband.

I have known Luis all of my life.. literally since I was 15. He has been locked up since 98, I was married at the time therefore I was not with him. We have always remained close and in constant contact. He comes home in 18 months, I will wait for him.

to those of you who have a longer haul, I give you mad respect and admiration. I do not think I would be able to do that. I admire all of you who have stuck in out longer than I .

I am not married to Luis, nor do we have any plans for that. We are very committed to one another.

I can say this much I know I wont do this again.

We've been together 5 years. He's been in a little over a year. We have 5 to go. I told him I would do this entire bid with him- it could have been up to 20, and I married him while he was in! I feel lucky! No more after this though- I know it and he knows it!

I have been with Kenneth for over 1yr. when we met he was suppose to be release may 2005 but he got in trouble and got more time now his release date is Sept. 2007 we are so very much in love I will wait as long as I have too.

Please dont ever question my love for my bloke BUT I come this way once and once only. On ths sentence he is doing a four. But in the last 10 years every christmas has been spent inside.
I would question his love for me!!
It is down to choice. His bad choices gets him in to bad situations. I can forgive and support but I gotta live. And I have our son now. And enough is enough. He may not choose life but we do. If we are not enough to keep him on the straight and narrow then we'll go.
I've waited for him and I'll wait to the end of this sentence. And I'm 100% faithfull I love him enuff!
But never again!
Maybe we are not enough for him........
Keeps saying he'a victim from birth..........well now he's made his son the victim.

Well, we have been together now for 2 years, and NCDOC says that we have almost 3 years left to go but I DON'T CLAIM IT! I have faith that my man will be home to me way before that cause I have faith in my Heavenly Father... oh yes! When God says it is time for my baby to come home, then He will open those gates and my baby will walk right on out! Faith is a mountain mover ladies... NEVER forget that!

When he first got locked up, before the hearing, we thought he was going to get some BIG time, because this is his third time being "on lock". I made up in my mind that I would wait no matter how long it took, but luckily he only got 5 yrs and he was granted parole on his first time up. So far (15 mos) it's been hell being without him, so depending on if your talking emotionally or physical. I think I could wait 3 physically, but emotionally I would wait a lifetime.

We have been best friends for over 20 years and became a couple 4 months before he went in. This was for something prior to our getting together.
He has been in for 2 years and 4 months. He has to do another 1 year and 8 months. We are on the down hill side now!
