Default Transcript

I would start out by calling the clerk of court in the county where he was tried. They are very nice about telling you what you need to know. It will probley cost you some money, but it will be a lot cheaper than going through a lawyer.

Default SC Court Reporters Web Page

Jenny, Here is the list of Court Recorders for each county. You will have to know the Case # (you can get that from Clerk of Court). Then call the recorder. Last word I had was they charge about $3.50 per page. I was able to get a Transcript at a reduced price because she had made a copy already for the attorney ($.75 per page). You may run into that. Be sure to ask.
Hope it wworks out.

Yes you can get most case info online. PM me with whatever #'s you have and the county, city, and state it is taking place in. I will help you.

Remember Federal Law provides a FREE copy of court transcripts is given to the appeallate attorney following any type of Post Conviction petition to the court- if one has been appointed, and the prisoner is entitled to a copy FREE by filling out a form called In Forma Pauperis (Latin for In Paupers' Clothing) and notarizing it. Basically it's an indigent form.
