Question Petitioning the Gov for commuted sentences

Has anyone out there ever petitioned the Maryland Gov's office for clemency, commutation or pardons? I am mainly interested in commutation. I know the Gov has set new guidelines (at least that's according to his website) and was supposed to be reviewing almost 500 old cases (again, according to his website). I wanted to know if you all have heard how they are working (or not) and what we might expect if we decide to do this. I saw on his website a few pardons, etc. he's granted mainly for minor incidences...easy ones, if you ask me. Has anyone heard how he feels about commuting the sentences of older, long-time 'residents'? Do you think we will need an attorney? You can PM me if you want. Any info is appreciated!!!
