Default parole revoke please help - what kind of state jail time ?

in a nut shell he had chg of 1 gram state jail paroled out with 11months left they revoked him for failing to report he spent 30 days in county an was just sent to gurny what kind of time is he looking at an can he parole out again

his orig charge was poss 1gm sentence 2yr state jail he paroled out with 11 months to go then he got revoked for not reporting he was picked up on dec 4 stayed in county till dec 31 transferred to gurney my question is does any one know what kind of time he will have to do an will he be able to parole out again or get reinststed he didnt have any new charges

Ok that made a little more sense. I was under the impression though state jails don't get parole and do day for day. He may not get parole since he violated his first one. Why did he not report? Texas is extremely harsh in not giving parole at all. They can offset parole by a year so his time may be up before he gets parole, if we go into it with the mindset there are no new charges.

If he was released on parole then his sentence was not state jail. If he was not released on a two year sentence until he had 11 months left then he was probably released to mandatory supervision and not parole ... and a little late, at that, since he should have been released with at least 13 months to go if he had earned all his good time, so he might have had some sort of issue while was inside before which, if true, won't help matters. In any case, between having so little time to do and them probably not wanting to turn him right back around on parole you might should expect him to do what remains of his 11 months.
