Default Parole violation: Will he go back to prison or is he serving violation time

My fiace is currently on parole in kent county mi. A couple days ago was picked up on a violation charge after getting into an arguement with someone n they ended up calling his po telling him that my fiace threatened her. Which was a lie we have a house full of people that witnessed the argument. Anyways his parole officer took him to the kent county jail. He was there maybe 2 days. And was recently sent to the Eaton county jail today is his second day there. And of course it is the weekend right now so can't get any info from the po about what is going on. I know that kent county does not hold parole violators for some reason. But my main concern is if he will be going back to prison or if he is just serving his violation time then can be released to come home? Very confused and cery worries. We have 4 young children together and they miss daddy very much. Just want to knor what I should be preparing for. Any help or answers you can give me is very appreciated.

I know nothing about MI PVs, but my guess is that a judge will decide what happens to him, not the PO. He should have the opportunity to present his side of the case to the judge before that happens too. Be sure to check the MI Parole forum for answers from folks who are familiar with that system.

Has his parole officer already served him with violation/revocation papers?
Unless something has majorly changed, violation time in Michigan is dead time. He will have to see a representative of the parole board to determine what the violation will be and that is normally done at the prison, so they are likely holding him until they can transfer him to the prison.
The only way this doesn't happen, that I know of, is if the p.o decides not to violate him.

I hope this helps and again it's just from my experience, I can't say for certain. I know it's hard not knowing.
