Lightbulb Romance during visitation w/poll

The only reason why I hate visitation is the crowds! We want to be more affectionate during visitation but there are so many people around looking in your face. Neither of us are fond of PDAs even though most couples in visitation do it. Anyone else going through this?

I hope I can make it for the next 5 years...:fb:

FOR ME PERSONALLY, I JUST TUNE THOSE PEOPLE OUT AND PUT ALL MY FOCUS ON RON...I ONLY CARE ABOUT THE INTERACTION BETWEEN HIM AND ME-OBVIOUSLY IF THE GUARDS SAY SOMETHING TO YOU, YOU HAVE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEM, BUT OTHER THAN THAT- I JUST SAY FORGET WHERE YOU ARE AND FOCUS ON WHO YOU ARE WITH-THE MAN YOU LOVE!!!

personally, I would give anything to have a visit to where I could touch Juan. When he was still here in KS, we had the glass between us and the phone. Since he's been moved to Louisiana....I havn't seen him since December.

I wouldn't care who was watching...... just one kiss, that is all I ask for

Sherry, I totally agree with you. When I first visited Goody in prison, it was very hard for me to kiss him in front of others. But I soon got over that and don't really care if anyone sees us. We love each other and need to show it. One of the guards actually came to us one day and told us it made him happy to see two people so much in love and having a good time together during visitation. We always laugh and joke around when we are together.

I know I'm kinda shy around big crowds of people, but I also know, if I will visit Darrell and I get a touch visit,I will hug and kiss him, no matter what

Well, I can't visit now but I agree with Sherrie. When I was visiting I was so caught up in my sweetheart that I didn't no anyone else was around, until a guard walked up and said something.

A show of affection in public just tells the world "this one is mine".

If you will note the peoples reaction when a couple are holding hands ect. You'll see a smile come on there face.

Cool

I agree BRay. Honestly as long as it doesn't cause problems for my Fiancee I could care less what anyone thinks about us showing affection. I think most visitors in the prisons don't care unless it gets too naughty!!!!!!

I agree also...

Although when I first went to meet EJ that was the first time I had ever been in a prison & the first time I had met EJ as well. When we were getting ready to leave I was expecting a hug...well that BIG DEVIL had to have a kiss as well. I was pretty nervous that the guards were going to say something.

By the last time I saw him...let me tell you I didn't care 1 bit what they thought! He's my honey man & I want the whole world to know he's MINE!!

Take care!

I guess I'll see on my third visit, I've only visited two times so far since he's been at the new place. I guess I haven't gotten used to the new setting. The guards always try to break it up but they're loved ones are always around them. It hurts to see them do that. The end of visitation is always the worse you never want to part.

I get tunnel vision at visitations! "You mean there are other people here!?!" lol.. Crowds never stopped me if my visitor was someone I wanted to kiss, hug or carress. In fact, crowds are usually better as far as I am concerned because it makes for good "cover".. It's hard for the CO's to keep up with a room full of 200 or more people.. When you are the only one in the visitation room, you know who they are hawking..

I know, but hopefully that will all change soon. I promise you as a daughter-in law I will love, and spoil your son rotten because of all the love I have for him. We have talked about this alot. I want to give him everything his heart desires and he wants to do the same for me, and I'm not talking about material things.

I have to say that I am another one of those "just let me have the chance to have a contact visit with my man" kinda girls.... We have been together WAY too long with no contact... I would do as much as they would allow....
And I agree Sherry that Budwoman and LoveMuffin have an awesome relationship... I too am blessed with a very wonderful and understanding future mother-in-law... Thanks Moms....

David doesn't like PDA's. We're only allowed to kiss coming in and going out. We're not supposed to touch during the visit. Depending on where we're sitting we may be able to sneak a peck or two. It's still better than county with glass between us.

Yes! Much better than county! Glass is evil! LOL
I have yet to see Cliff in a contact visit. In fact, this saturday will be the first time since march 5 that I have been able to see him at all, let alone with out glass between us. I'm sure we will be doing a lot of PDA's!

Only when they are mainline or endorsed. Not while they are in reception.

Hey Leonda
You will get used to the visiting routine soon and you will feel much more comfortable with the PDA. I used to be very shy and still sometimes can be in a "regular" setting. There is just something about being in that room, though, where you understand all those other people are going through the same things as you and are just as busy focussing on their men as you are on yours. I completely "zone out" now in the visiting room and sometimes am surprised to realize where I am when i come to.
I wish you all the best..you seem like such a nice girl

Shannon
