Thx,
YES, VPASS will start for all 33 prisons on May 19th. However you can only make appts for (GP/SNY).

For AD-Seg and SHU, appts are through phone only.

Thank you Nica! The phone actually seems easier than VPass! LOL!

Default SHU Visit Changes :)

I just called to verify with PBSP and YES it's true shu visits will be changing. After January 25, There will be two time slots. The first is 8:15-11:15, for sure. I'm guessing the second one is 12-3, or something similar. Yes ladies, we will have three whole hours!!! Everything else about visit stays the same.

Can we schedule an appt using Vpass now or do we still have to call? I asked because when I log into Vpass page, they are giving me the chance to schedule an appt

If you're from another state do you still get extra time to visit? You get 3 hour visits normally? Would I get an extra hour added onto that? 3 hours is awesome anyway. I'm used to 2 hour visits :-)

Default Mails Items

Does anyone know what SHU inmates are allowed via mail? Can they get blank greeting cards with envelopes? Writing paper? Can they get used books? If there is a list of approved items can someone point me in that direction...
Thanks in advance
