I'm not too sure about that but I doubt it. SHU only gets (1) package per year. You can call up and ask the mail room, they're pretty good about answering q's.

He can't get a package now.Only one a year and after a year.Sorry.
He can get limited commissary though ($55.00),at least if he is in shu...Don't forget they take out 55% of whatever you send if he owes restitution and 5 dollars a month for medical,dental,etc..

Question LO @PBSP SHU...Visit list ?...

Can they just take some one in their visit list off or is it permanent that they stay in the list?? My LO told this person not to visit anymore and yet went to visit again and got him upset... They dont tell them who it is so I guess I was wondering if all he needs to do is remove that person...

Mine sent me a copy of his approved visitors list and it has people on their that were approved over 15years ago and never even visited. It even shows the ones who were disapproved back then too. I'm pretty sure they can deny a visit otherwise talk to the visiting sergeant to see about removing someone from their list

Siciliangirl - hoping you can help me with this question. My husband's sister was approved to visit over 10 years ago but never actually visited. Now she wants to do a surprise visit on him, (so I can't ask him) but I'm thinking if she hasn't visited in over 10 years she would have to submit a new visitor form.....do you have any idea about this that could help us?

Thx in advance,
V

I personally would call up there and ask someone in visiting to make sure. I visited in 2006 and not again until 2012. I was told I was still on the list but I had to fill another visiting questionnaire/application just to update any info that might have changed and has to be done again every 2 years now. I had an old visiting app from years ago so I sent it a few weeks before I went but in your case, he'd get the approval knowing her intentions so you should just call to see if she can do it on the spot at visiting. Since you're married, maybe his counselor can help you out and let you know if she's still on his list. Visiting # is 707-465-1000 ext 5425.

Your welcome. Why dont you just tell him that you read on PTO about visitors having to reapply and he should send one to his sister just in case one day she decides to go. He still wont know when she's coming once she's approved so it'll still be a surprise.

Default VPass for SHU appts?

All,

I've been visiting PB SHU for years now - but someone told me they are switching to the VPass system effective May 19th.

Does anyone know if this is true for SHU appts in PB?

Thx,
