Default Help me name my puppies please

I need a little help. I bought two abused puppies to save their lives. They are 8 weeks old and have had them a week. I rescue puppies that are in distress, from birth to about 6 months. I cant take them bigger as my other dogs wont accept them. Once they are big enough they get adopted out for free.

Here is where I am stuck.... I cant for the life of me come up with names for them. I want something unusual, and fitting. They are both females.

The white german shepherd loves the water, she is forever digging it out the water bowl. Loves to play and run about outside.

The brown Chow mix, also like the water, but is more timid with people, but is going to be a super watch dog. (I thought of calling her Kaycie).... but I dont know really. So please send me your thoughts on this.

I will have two more names to get in a few weeks, when the puppies left on my doorstep 3 days ago are big enough to be named. They are only 12 days old right now and are being bottle fed.

Thanks

Keltria

well, the chow looks like a fox in that pic, so I might call her foxy.

The shep....I was going to say Casper, but she's female. How about Camilla (I am thinking of flowers, like a white camilia)

pretty pups.

Sidewalker's right- She does look like a fox.... maybe "Loxie"... the fox from Chicken Little?

In Japanese folklore, there is a fox-like powerful animal spirit that is mischievous and cunning called kitsune.... It's pronounced kit-soo-knee.

For the shepherd.... hmmm....How about "Marlene" for Marlene Dietrich, or Mae for Mae West, each of these ladies being another fabulous blonde, German girl?

Thank you LeBeau - the Chow has a name. I asked her, she wagged that tail for the first time ever. These poor puppies have been through hell in their little lives.

I'm going to suggest "Lili" for the white German Shepherd.
Two reasons, lilies are white and delicate. Symbolising purity and innocence.
Also "Lili Marlene" is a beautiful German song about an enigmatic female

See if she will give you the wag of approval for that one.
You can also sing her her own song!

I have a friend who named his Shepard...Deogee. Said fast you don't really notice that you're actually spelling DOG!
He's got to be the smartest most beautiful Shepard I've ever met! Wish I had a photo, sorry~

You've probably already thought of these but perhaps a nice African name like Akili which I believe is Swahili for bright or Alika which is Nigerian for most beautiful. Just a thought

I like Justice and Liberty. LOL---fitting for pups involved with a prison mom.

Do you still have the little bird?

I say "Shanaynay" (Martin lawrence's drag character from the show Martin) and "Wanda" (Jamie Fox's drag character from In Living Color). I think theses names suit them since they are both females, but not siblings. These names will also bring conversation when you tell people.
